I know the prophet met them but we haven't seen him interact with them. They could have a hostile relationship for all we know?

The Apparition took over his body just a few years ago, hiding in Dads´ dreams till the final momentYeah, but it's too twisted.. although we never saw dad in the game... he's real... not many ways to make 3 childrem from the dream world and 1 of them to release you

True, that is indeed a possibility but I believe we're above all that happened before, MC has the capability of being even stronger than the Prophet, which coming to think of it... could be the Apparition, no?

I mean, the Apparition know of the Book, why they don't know what's in that Book (or just faking it)? They so willingly help us in the Dream World, they give us the tainted shard, show us the story of the Prophet. Why are they bound to us (or are they bound to us), we used the tainted shard on aunt, right? What keeps them bound to us then?

There is a "chosen one" story arc going on here. I think the MC is their agent in the real world and manipulating him by giving him what he wants. But do you notice there always seems to be price for his services, like "find this shard".

Yeah, like the Order sends the Spell to MC, Tracy finds out about it (via the short haired woman), asks aunt to keep Alice away (not to get tainted by MC), works with the shorted haired woman to fight the Order. The short haired woman uses the Spell on Trace to block answering questions about the Spell and the Order, as she sees that MC could grow brains and ask her. Tracy steals the work done by MC for mom and hides it, so the MC would be distracted and wouldn't use the Spell on his family (that backfired for sure).
What if Tracy is using the spell on the MC, and he doesn't know

We don't know if it works on male... but I have suspicion that she used it... as MC ended up in Dream World, and when MC asked the Apparition for some answers, they said that they are needed elsewhere and left... so yeah I think Tracy (or someone) used the Spell on MC.

At one of the playthroughs I was so suspicious about everybody that even thought that Mom and Marcus are part of the conspiracy. Not to mention "not the sharpest tool in the shed" - Abigail, she invites MC (a virgin) on a date out of the blue... This game so winds me up.. like nothing else out there

I never thought she was suspicious "she an angle:angel::heartcoveredeyes:".At one of the playthroughs I was so suspicious about everybody that even thought that Mom and Marcus are part of the conspiracy. Aunt, is smart and knows that there is power at work but I don't know how much she knows?
Marcus, is a possibility but I think hes loyal to the MC.
Tracy, knows more than she lets on but I think she think she protecting the family.
Alice, is innocent as you could be.
Latisha, defiantly a no.
Abigail, I think is innocent and naive but something make me think she to know more than she lets on.
Knew chick, I don't trust but I need more context.

The thing that bugs me about mom is that she appears in aunt's dreams... she doesn't appear in anyone others' dreams... just the aunt. About aunt I suspect that her husband is from the Order and had manipulated her with the spell (that explains her thoughts about the strange feelings she's experiencing around MC, after we told her to be more nice... etc. And that's why she didn't go with mom at the yoga studio. Then again... what if it is not the husband, but mom who is using the spell on her... maybe even as a child? And that's why she stays away from her... Damn so many options... so many unknowns... ). Despite all, after the sex between MC and aunt, she opened up towards MC and I believe she was sincier about the things she said and she was friendlier than ever. I believe her "strong will" is made by the Spell used on her (maybe her husband, maybe someone else) but after MC broke her "strong will" (and sex night) she was feeling relieved and easy going... dang it.. she was even NICE to the MC, so I think she's a friend

On the top I quite sure that the original plan was to use the apparition for the sex scenes in the dreams (like in the first episodes). SO probably we can really judge the presence of Mom in the dreams.

My theories so far, Sorry if its a bit long :coldsweat:

*(Think about it this way) Have we heard anything about Marcus and Mc's past how they became friends anything?*
The first time(s) we see the order tailing us its when Marcus is with us (in the coffee shop and outside walking around). It has something to do with Marcus I think he's working for them.
- "Marcus is our boy (why would he work for them/why would he do something like that/how could he?)"
*(Think about it this way) why did sin write in that you have to tell him you have powers, Yeah you get to chose how much info you want to give him but either way he still finds out that you have these powers no matter what. It's so there isn't a plot hole in the story. That's also why he whats you to prove that you have them during his party.*
It could even be that Helen was working for or even possibly leading the order all those years ago and she just fucked over the prophet so that she could steal a dream shard from him, Which gave her slight powers that the order have still been using to this day.

The order used those powers on you while you slept planting memory's in your head that Marcus is your friend when in reality hes just an agent on the inside informing the order if you in fact have powers or not.
Or it could just be that he is actually Mc's friend and that the order kidnapped his sister and are black mailing him into helping them get what they want.
It could even be that Marcus signaled the guy at the coffee shop when you mentioned powers that's why the guy looked at you two.

This could explain why Tracy has been acting mysterious they investigated her to see if she had powers first and they thought they wiped her memory's when actually she still remembers and she's trying to protect the family.
Or maybe they didn't even check her first maybe she was second and Mc's dad was the first that they investigated but for some reason they didn't let him go (Maybe he had a little bit of power and they still need him for those powers to get closer to you?).

They need to farm dream shards!
They need to get control of the Apparition so that they could use him as a direct supplier for dream shards!

I had a few more ideas like the aunt the new lady at the end of 7 Abigail Helen and the Dad/Mom Could all be related like Helen is the grate grate grate grandma, the new lady, the aunt, Mom or Dad are all siblings and Abigail is the new lady's daughter.
And maybe that's how they got to Tracy was to use Abigail like Marcus.
Also maybe since the order has some dream powers their giving us those nightmares making it seem like a side effect to scare us off from wanting to keep using powers like maybe their gonna try to persuade us to let them help by saying "oh you can trust us" "we're not bad" "we're here to help you control the power" "we'll help you get rid of the nightmares" "as long as you help us :evilsmile:" or some shit like that.
I also had one where I thought Marcus was/could be the Apparition. :biggrin:
Its just none of these made enough sense (to many holes in the story).
