this is unrelated , but could someone help :
the H function and S for saving is gone for me ! what's going on? it happened in all of my Ren'py games !! they don't save pic with "S" or don't hide the text with "H" !! what do i do ? also the "V" for voice is gone !

I strongly believe he will end it with a cliffhanger. That way he can make 2 episodes and also hype the fans for potential Season 2. Just my opinion though

I think on this in a more pragmatic manner. If he is making a living out of this, he won't be stopping developing games and since he set a standard for himself with DoD, he'll have to live up for that and we can be certain of a new game. I absolutely not convinced that this will be a continuation though. Why should it be. Fans always want things to continue forever but thats not how things workI strongly believe he will end it with a cliffhanger. From what little info is available, it won't be a sequel. I feel like I said that a few times, but people seem to wish it to be true. You know how it goes, just like i said, fans are like that, always longing for a neverending story in a way that borders genuine addiction. But on the artistic side, if you are a creator, this can't be kept on. The passion will vanish after a while and you have to move on or you just ruin everything if you give in to those voices by an increasingly boring bland story that lacks the passion of the original one. Its like when a great sport icon is unable to retire on its peak.
I'm not worried though. Seeing how DoD turned out i'm pretty sure he won't forget how to capture the essence of a kickass game and will be able to create something similar on par with DoD

We already know this will be completely new game and sandbox too.I realy hope he still use Ren'Py.Easy for us to save anytime and to scroll back and choose another option.I hope he make it something like Glassix or Corruption in terms of freedom and not like BB or The Tyrant.

I'm hoping more like Summertime Saga or Milfy City. Those are perfect as sandbox imo.

I have no worries about that. I don't feel like he'd make such a huge step backwards. I'm pretty sure he'll contine this line of mechanics pretty much and i see no reason why he'd change the platform. (Back to rpgmaker? x'D) So i expect Ren'py from him in the future unless something nextgen comes out from the big blue but since Ren'py seems to handle well animatins i see no reason that would validate a change.
Now that i'd love to see. Something sandbox. A sandbox from him woul be nothing short of Awesome!

His best episodes were 2 and 4. They were the ones with the little click and point minigames. Adding a little interactivity adds a lot to the game for me.
