Compared to BB, DoD is Shakespeare IMO
While I generally agree with this, I just can't bring myself to write total nonsense in the story line. True, some of it is nonsense. But as fun as BB was, the 'story' was completely absurd. I know somewhere out there will be a single reader who will appreciate the story we're writing. We do that part for them.
To me the biggest lesson to be learned from DmD and BB, is have a back up plan. Don't wait until Patreon is knocking on your door to figure out what you're going to do. Build the ark before the storm.
I will be interested to see where we stand among the most popular games in a year or two. Will we be among them? Or will we still be an obscurity. Only time will tell. But until it does, we will continue doing what we love.

In all seriousness I think it's best to set that day as the expectation. I trust DrSin is gonna make this next update really big and I'm fine with him taking all the time he needs, because we're all going to miss this game when it finally reaches it's inevitable end. :'(
