Treat him like your best friend the entire game. Don't try to fuck his mom, be honest with him about what's going on etc. (That's what I did and he lived in my save)
Update did indeed feel rushed, I think they could have made another whole episode to flesh things out a bit. That being said, it was of great quality as usual. Can't wait for the next project.

use the skip to choice button, it takes about 5 - 10 minutes to get to ep 12
ok, so no one but baddies died for me, though Mom's fucked up and ended the relationship, everyone else is good though. Is there a way for Mom to be ok afterwards? Will do another play through if there's a perfect ending to be had.

Which one of the 6 possible endings do you refer to?
I would count all these variations as different endings, bringing the total to 6.
I kinda felt the same but remember: This is the finale. If someone downloaded the game for the first time 3 days ago, then the finale wouldn't feel "void" of story but a worthy climactic end.

I disagree, even if someone was playing the game today for the first time the finale would look a little bit rushed respect all the previuos chapters.
