I know right but tbf, some of Banana's earliest works are also a bit bland and static too but after several post later, his video quality improved exponentially. IMO he was at his prime right now but all of a sudden, he wants to retire. So unfortunate. Im still waiting and searching for any mmd artists out there that can rival his and DrEzral's work.
This one for example. The models he used is high poly and clean but the way he animated the movement and facial expression is so dead bland, lifeless. Plus it is too short and basically a loop animation with different camera angles. Sorry if I being a whining baby but man, I just want banana mmd to come back lmao
