this is amazing for a first relase and the mc actually looks good for a change. new all we need is the planned tags cause the previous game doesn't inspire confidence in me.
Well he's immortal, not a time traveler. So obviously he lives in current times. How does a guy from ancient times know what a camera is or even how to drive a car?
Well, in the last game, as I saw, all the controversial tags were easily avoided, and if something controversial is planned for this game, then most likely it will be the same, but I would really like to know the future tags.this is amazing for a first relase and the mc actually looks good for a change. new all we need is the planned tags cause the previous game doesn't inspire confidence in me.
As soon as I read "Jayne doesn't just enter scenes, she takes them over," I had my suspicions. We definitely can't know for sure just from these LLM "vibes," but it does seem like the character cards could be AI generated. Not interested enough to delve into the actual writing of the game to look for more clues.I'd rather not waste my time when there are flashing warning signals against doing so. It doesn't even have incest to tempt me to try it.
IDK if you're the main writer yourself. If not, you should double check what your writers are doing, because the syntax in the character cards screams AI. I know some people like to draft things with AI and then edit it afterwards; but if you're not hyper-sensitive to syntax the clear markers in the writing will remain.
If it was all written by humans, then damn, your writers spend so much time reading AI content that they've started to imitate it themselves, which would be a hell of a feat!
EDIT: Also WTF is up with the reviews? They are almost identical... Hmmm...
Honestly, I also noticed and it feels like it was written by one person or AI.EDIT: Also WTF is up with the reviews? They are almost identical... Hmmm...
I feel that it is a problem. Language use is a base skill that can convey deficiencies in other areas. If there's an ESL issue, you can typically glean the degree of the problem from the syntax, and how it relates to the author's original language. Not saying that most people will do that, but Engrish hasn't often been a barrier for me (very much speaking for myself here, lol) getting into someone's work.As soon as I read "Jayne doesn't just enter scenes, she takes them over," I had my suspicions. To be fair, I don't think LLM assisted writing is inherently a bad thing. Rather have this than the Engrish of people that can barely speak the language.
My apologies, should be fixed in the following version + a bunch of other stuff that was reported.Everyone says the crime was at night.
Renders are of a sunny day.
Fix the renders or change the text because that kind of thing breaks inmersion.
Their is a far simpler example to compare it with, namely Lucifer, a supernatural detective story with the MC being a consultant for the cops. I was thinking the MC was a vampire, considering their glowing eyes, the people seemingly hunting him and his paramour back in the Middle Ages, but considering we seem him roaming around during the day and no blood being consumed, its obviously meant to be a weird derivative between a vampire and an immortal.Guess this gonna a mix of Monk or The Mentalist for the criminal forensics aspect and The Old Guard for the immortality plot. I'm all up for it. I hope dev has some background in Forensic Science, won't want the crime solving part to disappoint. VN looks real good so far.
But what's up with the storyboard? Some parts it feels like a scene or a couple of dialogue were missing in the writing.
Thanks for the fixes and clarification. Sorry an incomplete private build got leaked, along with the AI synopsis/content. Understandably that'd be upsetting and potentially negative for the game's reception. Good luck on the new project, I'll be sure to check it out sometime! My apologies, should be fixed in the following version + a bunch of other stuff that was reported.
If there is some text, a render or anything else that feels out of place or is incorrect please let me know where so I can solve the problem.

Also, for everyone else:
This game(beta) should not have been up yet. I had plans to upload this game myself later this week as an official release with all the needed information.
Instead someone uploaded the (beta) game on F95 2 hours after the early release came out. The thread was released with a wrong banner that doesn't fit, a strange AI summary not written by me, and promotional teaser character templates that should not have been on this page to begin as they're not made for that purpose nor do they belong in the dev notes.
Xo already explained the rest, game was in development for about a year with careful planning and lots of time and money invested in assets, graphics cards etc. Also the learning curve for DAZ is quite high. Making this stuff is not easy.
I wanted to do something completely different after working on the old game for like 4.5 years, no AI used there. I think it turned out pretty awesome and it should only get better from here since the hardest work has already been done as in character creation, world building, story setups, learning the tools, gui, ui stuff and so fort.
I noticed some complaints about the story and how certain things don't make sense but one has to keep in mind that it's told over multiple seasons. It's quite far planned out and you're not given all the details in the first episode. It takes time to get a deeper understanding of the how's and why's. If I were to spoil everything now, it kinda beats the purpose of making a story based VN.
As for the game? No AI was used. Other than that, constructed feedback is very valuable so please shoot. If you find any bugs, let me know so I can fix them. All in all, I hope you guys will enjoy the game, it was a loooot of work. Have fun!
Cheers!
Idk if this has been reported already but when you find the body a Molina render shows before her scene. My apologies, should be fixed in the following version + a bunch of other stuff that was reported.
