Okay first off, the complaint for Molina is swapped somehow, complaint = 0 is linked to filing the report, and complaint = 1 means that you won't file the report, while the previous option set it as complaint = 1 if you want to file the report.
For anyone playing, you can fix this with URM very fast.
Model-wise and scene framing, lighting, it's all pretty top notch. Even the UI is really solid. From a technical standpoint, it's probably in the upper 2% of games on this platform.
Narratively, I have some major gripes.
The first is that anything that end up employing an overarching "deus ex machina", working in the shadows type of character threat either ends up making the MC looks like a complete and utter useless sack of shit, or the threat ends up looking incompetent, in all my years of reading and consuming story-driven media, I have yet to find anything that makes this work well.
In this case, it's pretty clearly in the former rather than the latter. It's pretty hinted that his oldest death from, let's say a few hundred years ago, was due to this organization. Has he not learned a single thing about espionage, counter-espionage, close hand combat, ANYTHING to make him more than just a punching bag for a shadow organization?
Even someone who is immortal would care about dying, because as it's clearly pointed out early on, it's a MAJOR inconvenience for him as he has to get an entirely new identity and ghost anyone he built a bond with.
He also decided to just not fight back at all against Beatrice or whatever her name was - and for what? What was the purpose? He's immortal, he can make sure to only take body hits if she fires, and I also have a hard time believing that he has zero combat abilities given that one of the death flashbacks have him in a suit of armour being hung.
Moreover, they have some form of ballistic suit, but they're using walkie-talkies of all things. That in itself makes it seem like they're not exactly up to date on tech and surveillance, and we're made to believe that the MC is completely unable to give that a slip even for a second?
On top of this, why does he not for one second think about if he's being followed or not if they've done this for hundreds of years while heading to his dump of an apartment?
I will say that this is a colossal gripe for me being that it dilutes what's already a really interesting take on things - someone who's immortal having to navigate life and what might drive someone who's lived many lifetimes.
Throwing in Big Bad Global Super Mega Immortal-Assassination Shadow Money Wizard Gang makes it so you won't have much room to explore the intricacies of an immortal being, and you also won't have much room to explore Big Bad Global Super Mega Immortal-Assassination Shadow Money Wizard Gang without making it inevitably be somewhat shallow and feeling tacked-on.
Having to make branching choices for each of these things sounds like a fucking nightmare in the making, and not making branching choices will cause gripe with people as a lot of people aren't a fan of kinetic novels.
As for LI choices.. I mean it's.. something I guess?
Peaches seems mentally damaged and far from being fit as an LI in my personal opinion.
Molina will probably shoot me in the fucking head while I sleep.
Red I have no idea about, could just be a side character.
Chief seems the most reasonable and has some decent writing to her, definitely one of the more interesting characters.
For the technical aspect and the few parts that's more down to earth, like the banter with the Chief and the other officers, the MC being a bit of a dumb mess, I'd rate it all pretty highly.
The BBGSMIASMWG aspect nearly kills it for me. I've just never seen it work out in a satisfactory manner, so unless the dev is out to make a tragic story about an MC that can't do shit, it's hard for me to see it making the overall experience better rather than worse.
