I just found this thread, does this artist do like a real story + animation or is this the same old

Drills is the poster child and pinnacle of what 3d porn animation should be. I hear he even used real models for 3d mapping in some of his scenes. That would explain the GOD level fluidity. Every since Fair Played (Its what he considered his grandest work) kind of bombed and was universally panned, he seems to have lost motivation like all artists do at some point. Hes a one man crew and extremely meticulous; hes a perfectionist all the way down to the music so no this isnt the loop BS. I honestly wish the loop artists would just make RenPy games and quit faking me out but that just my opinion.

Darn been waiting for this since I saw Jessie's "magic" trick. Oh well. Guess I'll be patient.
drills does fairly good stuff, but is one of the slowest animators out there. it's obviously a side gig, and it also explains why he worked so hard to purge and rebrand from the loli stuff.
Drills may be slow, but he's not Wildeer slow.

So recently I found drills3d work and I gotta he is really good at tackling details such as facial expressions, physics, animations, and lighting. I’ve seen his Clem and Louis dresser night preview vid and well it’s nails all the points above, but it just doesn’t really envoke someone to jack off too. It’s just weird to me tbh.
I see drills3d more like an artist and story teller rather than just another porn creator. I seen post saying that he used to work at Pixar or dreamworks and it does show in his work. Maybe I’m gonna sound stupid by saying this but, when I saw his latest work compared to his infamous ‘fair played’ video. I seem to be more engaged to fair played because it set a story foundation and it had so many elements to it. Sure ‘fair played’ had a sus story plot but it was there you know what I mean. Most of his latest works are just 2 minute clips with no buildup with straight to the fucking. I hope he reevaluates and builds upon on what made him come into the spotlight in the first place.
