Keep in mind that the fundamental premise of the game is that MC is trying to get away from violence and evil. So the momentum of the story will be "away from bad" (if not necessarily "towards good"). It's not a neutral subject. But...obviously the options do exist. But I think these represent a failure for what the MC wanted - although importantly it doesn't have to be that from the players' point of view.
Even then, Red MC seems more intent on not being forgotten or thrown away, instead of 'taking control'.
Green MC = whole package
Blue MC = aspirational (less violent, 'good', idealist)
Red MC = violent, primal
But interesting part of Red MC is that he isn't amoral. he has standards, codes, ethics. And is NOT in opposition. I found a really interesting scene is between Red and Blue in the school office (after a scene in the cafeteria). All along, Red has been mocking Blue's 'weakness', but suddenly realizes there are things he doesn't know (or get).
"Seems like not everyone here is a complete idiot"
And what followed what a huge exchange.
Red: "Afraid of getting exposed...Our face is public now."
Blue (or maybe Green??): "We're already exposed. That's what I was trying to say..."
Red sees this as another job and hasn't yet gotten that everything is different. Blue seems to roll with it and want to help the girls. Green is kinda there, but understands the dangerous nuances. He's out there for everyone to see and is already interacting publicly with early elements of the other four factions. And he's a non-moving target....
The direction of the game will be towards redemption or at least peace. It's not a balanced choice - BUT, other paths do exist.
