Hello, my game keeps crashing at a point in the prologue. I'm coming up behind a guy in the hallway, and just as he puts him arm up to block, the game freezes for a full minute, then either gives an 'exception' or I have to force close it.
I removed Shawns mod to see if that was the issue, but it still happens.
edit, I just got another one (was able to ignore first one finally). when the girl is in his bed lying face down when he leaves the bath.
Maybe I have a corrupted install?

sounds like it because it says it couldnt load the pictures which is at best an uncritical error that you can skip if the whole game freezes that sound like a corrupted install or a problem with your harddrive

Played through this title several times and it's one of my very favorites. Started a brand new play through including the prologue yesterday and I have to vent. This is not a complaint about the title and in fact it's a compliment to the author that I can be so bothered by a characters action. However, I need to vent.

I cannot stand Ava. Not at all. She is a complete derp who combines being completely clueless with bossy demands. You can tell right away in the prologue when Eva, Sophia and MC are in the Russian pub. Sophia sees a guy with a gun and WHISPERS to Eva:

Sophia: Darling, don't make any sound. We need to leave here as quietly as possible. Keep it natural.

So what does Ava do? She doesn't follow instructions, doesn't cooperate and instead, at full volume says..

Ava: What's going on?

This is what a derp does in a tight spot. They don't listen, they refuse to follow instructions and they demand that everyone stop what they are doing until someone explains everything to them to their satisfaction.

Sophia: Lower your voice! Listen, I gotta get something in my car, and I need to get you outta here.
Ava: What's happening, Sofia?

For the love of god will you shut the fuck up and cooperate?! Sorry... nope!

Sophia: Just do what I'm telling you to. I'll follow you right after you leave.
Ava: You're scaring me.

So when Sophia finally gets her moving on her extremely complicated task (leave the pub) she can't even do that right. She walks forward while looking backwards and plows straight into some drunk dude and totally causes a scene. She is a complete boat anchor!

I could go on about how she yells and screams and demands to be trusted, to know what's going on and to be included in tasks that have absolutely nothing to do with her. Plus.. don't answer someone else's door you freaking momo!

Ahhh that feels better. Now I can get on with my play through and enjoy my favorite scene with Asuna and the Kendo demonstration.

Why do developers create games like this.... which is full of SHIT conversation repeating the same thing over and over again.

Every dialogue in this game is repeated again and again just with different wording ....does not make scenes... I CANT STAND IT

Totaly agree with you ... The question is Why create a such a charecter like her; fall in love in 5 minutes and thinks she is entitle to know everything without respect .... Unless she is some sort of secret agent? ..hope it turns out later in the game. Otherwise she is a psycho.

I don't know if I'm a connoisseur or not. I liked this game from go. I liked the characters and I think it is one of the best written AVNs out there - possibly the best. I also really like the art in this one. However, if you're looking for a fuck fest, it's not this game. So far there are only lewds scenes with two of the women, but every one of them feels earned and feels like it fits naturally in the story. I don't like it when developers twist and mangle the story to squeeze in a lewd scene just because the players want one. There are a few games I play that are mainly about the sex, but the ones I really like are stories first - stories with porn vs. porn with a story. I don't know how things are going to play out with the college girls but it feels like, at this point, a sexual relationship with them will require certain ethical choices that you may pay for later (in other words it might impact whether you get a good ending or a bad one - but I don't know for sure.)

If you don't like it now you probably won't like it going forward and the settings, themes and writing are the same as what you've already seen. Up to you.

Just finished the prologue. Pretty good, bit melodramatic, but very good music. Though the soundtrack did seem to appear then go silent somewhat randomly between scenes. Not telling Sophia that he's working as a headteacher seems... pointless. And I hope he's gonna open up to her and Ava, because it's weird seeing them "playing house" while keeping so many secrets and generally remaining emotionally cut-off.

I'm a little ways into the main game and I've got say I'm getting frustrated. Firstly, the sex scenes are lacking and not hot, especially when they're interlayed with dire medical operations. But equally importantly, the contrivance of him not telling Sophia and Ava that he works in a school is getting ridiculous. I mean the nurse and his assistant literally come to visit, and somehow through all of that they don't mention they work at a school? And why the hell is he keeping it a secret when it clearly would make vastly more sense to tell them? Sure, maybe he feels guilty manipulating children, but it's just silly at this point. Argh. If anyone can tell me whether this contrivance ends quickly, please do.

Also the Kayle plotline is so far pointless and dumb.

I don't want to be a hater, the game is good, but I'm just finding it frustrating atm.

Hey, guys! What's up? Long time no see! Please put down your torches and pitchforks for now?

As I've mentioned before, Discord is a GREAT tool for communication. Every time someone pings me there, I try to respond as fast as I can. It's been our first source of communication and I've been using Patreon for meaningful announcements instead. I think that's how to use these tools to the fullest. Quick back-and-forth on Discord, big pronunciations here.
I can't stress this enough; it's ALWAYS okay for you guys to ping me there when you have legit questions. Even for a few gags sometimes.

So, as we've discussed there. I'll try to improve my communication. We've spent hours discussing this, and one suggestion that came up repeatedly was the possibility of making dev logs. Showing what's being done in the week. Any troubles or setbacks. The scenes that are being worked on. What's been finished. Etc. I honestly had no idea how to do this without spoiling events. But I've studied a bit, and you guys gave me great examples of dev logs and I think we can work something out. So, without further ado, let's talk about the update and the dev logs.

Dev Logs will be made every Saturday. I'll try not to give any names for the scenes so it doesn't spoil anything.

- Household Scene: 100% (The update was supposed to end here before I decided to rework and expand it...)

- 80% (I'm reworking some animations. They're technically done and finished. But I'm giving some space for inspiration if I want to add more animations or rework them if I think there are better ways to do them.)

Especially because I needed to finish this "storyline" with Jasmin first. So I can FINALLY focus on her in the next update. I won't give any more spoilers. We're very close to the release date, but I'm not going to commit to a release date just yet. If I continue giving release dates and delaying them, then it means nothing. I want to do this right for once. I'm DEEPLY sorry for the delay, AGAIN. I seem to have a habit of delaying even when there's no obvious crisis (unlike that freaking volcano situation!) because every time I replay the game I see something I could tweak, and when I see it, it's become a snowball.

The good news, though, is that we'll have way more communication from now on, thanks to your feedback on Discord. By the way, I'm always open to feedback. If you have any suggestions to make, go right ahead! Here or privately. Another good news is that it's a delay for a delay, I've more than doubled the content. So I guess it's a win-lose situation? We win because it's more content; we lose because it got delayed again

provided no delays, I'd say push it back a little to first-second week instead. Not sure what the sleep scene entails, but if it's anything like the last one we saw (Man fingers demon demon fingers man or whatever the fuck it was) I think we have sufficient reason to believe it'll take a bit more time than usual.
