Not Kinetic. Kinetic implies that there are no meaningful choices, but yes - so far - there's no 'sandbox' and there really wasn't much in the prologue either, just a couple of point and click experiments and then you're really just deciding which of several tasks you want to do first. This game continues to be the top avn out there for me. I felt that narratively this update was great as always, but I did expect a longer runtime. Still, excellent as usual.
Just hope the next update(s) don't take as long!
For anyone on the fence about playing the game: if you like good narrative and writing, download it and play it without fear. The prologue is recommended to be played just so you get more context in the story. A lot of the mechanics and things that were coded in the prologue got abandoned by the dev (like the small sandbox stuff that is in there). From the main game onwards, the avn is kinetic. Focus is on story > anything else, and it's a damn good one.
Ok.This update felt more like a filler episode in terms of content, with a focus on the arc involving the two sisters, Jasmin and Julie. It seems the main goal was to develop their connection with the MC and his "family". There's only one sex scene with Sophia, who honestly didn’t need more screen time compared to the others.
There is a cliffhanger at the end, but it's immediately broken by Kane showing up to protect the MC’s house from the Russians. Overall, I wasn't particularly impressed. It felt too short, and we didn’t really get anything meaningful in terms of story progression or action. A missed opportunity, in my opinion.
The development feels a bit messy to me, though I’m not saying all of it is bad. The interface still seems unfinished and isn’t very useful. It's been a long time since the MC last reported to Kane, and that original mission storyline feels pretty much forgotten now.
The main plot no longer focuses much on the school setting or the MC’s undercover role as a principal gathering intel for the Wolves. Maybe that part wasn’t strong enough, which could explain why it was dropped along with related gameplay features. I also suspect the dev has faced some technical difficulties implementing those elements.
Now, the story seems to be shifting toward the rising conflict between the Wolves and the Russians, heading toward an all-out war. Given her background, it makes sense that Jasmin is the first college girl brought into the MC’s household along with her sister. But if the dev plans to do the same for all the others, it’s going to take a very long time. x)
Hopefully, we’ll see some real tension and stakes soon. That might be the one thing left to keep the game interesting. I’d love to feel genuinely invested in the story again.

I mean some of the delays were very unfortunate and out of his control, still I am happy with his pacing currently. This update once again showed how fucking good LB is at building a world where nothing just happens in a vacuum. I love how the world around the MC and his harem (feels difficult calling it that because the pacing is GLACIAL here) is developing.
When Sophia asked the MC inside the car after replacing the head of that gang they attacked what they risked their lives for that day, I was once again reminded why I love this game so much - it's the "cut the bullshit" type of dialogues between the characters. Straight to the point, like people who know and trust each other do. I BELIEVE that Sophia and the MC have that kind of bond.
Now, though, the shitty parts.
I am really getting tired of flashbacks. I want to see what happens NOW, not what happened 1, 5 or 10 years ago anymore. No mentioning of Ingrid for an update, no Isabella was beaten in the past, no past stories about the military, medical training and whatever. It's so difficult to follow all these little backstory-bits.
Also, the game has like 10 girls, out of which we've been seeing 2 nude so far in 3 years of development. Love Sophia and Ava is hot as hell, but it's time for them to take a backseat.
Also can't help feel like this update had like 100 renders total or something.
Once upon a time it seemed like we were going somewhere with some of these girls and Isabella's been teased / baited for multiple updates now. Just let the dam burst so we can get over these hurdles. The perfect moment, seeing how this story is writting, will not come for it.
I don't know, every time I'm playing the game I'm sucked in and immersed immediately, but when it's over I go "That's it?"
Oh it's on now buddy. It's all ogre for you!I'm a son of ogre yujiro hanma not some insect's!![]()

The first part of the game, the prologue, is basically a very limited sandbox. The second part, the main game, feels more like a visual novel and/or a kinetic novel, still not sure imo. Either way, all the little gameplay elements are gone. I guess that’s why the mods didn’t tag it with a VN tag or change it.this game should be tagged as a VN no?
