She has been wearing the same ugly underwear since the beginning of the game. This scammer doesn't even buy assets (also cheap clothing all over the place in this game) and you guys keep falling for it. Embarrassing to see people clapping for mediocre renders done in 30 minutes max while the scam continues. Have some dignity and move on.

That's another indication that this legendary scam shows no sign of being a legitimate thing. Where are all the new assets he should have bought in the past 1.5 years? compare with the investment done by the guy from Broken Dreamers.
Damn dude, you fallen so hard, you started to pick on underwear "assets" now... lol. And if underwear is your thing, come sniff some in "Gates Motel" :p

There is other games out there that deserve your attention more, both on good and bad, which actually have updates to them too. If people want to clap at pinups, let them, maybe its one of the few things that brighten up their day. From a marketing point of view I get it. It helps drum up income. As with marketing else, regardless of what it is. it's about reel in another fish.

Fuck the part where its says this thread is about DF. This thread is more like a unifier that united all into coming together, just to abuse and mock Gumdrop.

I only hope people who are blindly supporting this game for the next 10 minutes update, pour some of their money into games like Where the Heart is, City of Broken Dreamers, Vengeance and many others more.

Can't believe the last proper update of this game was a year or more ago.
They only need to mirror GD's activities in regard of drum up interest in their game to gain the same support right? What does those creators do to drum up their business vs what GD does, or doesn't? One of the silliest things I see is when people start go on about "this game, deserve more support than another" etc. Since when in life EVER is it about get what you deserve? If you want results you need to work hard for it, that's usually how it goes.

People support causes, people, join into fandoms, and god knows what for their own agendas. You will be hard pressed to change peoples opinions and views unless they are open for it themselves. Until then just file them under "lost causes", or whatever and ignore them.

I think you should try out the games I mentioned and find out for yourself, if they worked hard enough. According to me, they surely did.

There is a difference between work hard on make a game, and work hard to bring it to the masses so you can get revenues from it. If all it took was to work hard to create a good game, then all the creators of good games out there would had equally support for their games, but that isn't the case. I didn't say the games you mentioned wasn't good or had hard working creators. It's about marketing yourself as a creator, and your product (games, in this case). Look at DarkCookie, he got like 20k patreon's now. He didn't get that far by twiddle his thumbs.

You can create the best game in the world, but it wouldn't matter at all if people wouldn't get to know about it and end up support it.

He mention some good games.
Thing about Winter, he more or less just focused on this thread, and game alone. He probably wouldn't know much about other games out there. Poor fellow, down to throw critics about lack of diversity in underwear assets used in this game...

The fuck on earth are you even trying to say Tree?
Almost all the games here get around equal range of attention.
All I am trying to say is the people supporting DF should just stop following this scam atleast now and thereby pour that attention into others who can deliver.

Vengaence's developer, Nikois, can get the job done, but I am guessing his major problem is lack of support or revenues. People who can deliver should be supported and not fuckers who can ADVERTISE A SCAM.

Plus, you are talking about MARKETING on a PIRATE website. There will only be a few here who would actually be able to support developers. And Gumdrop still getting the supportive funds is like a total wastage even after all this time.

No, I'm talking about creators of adult games, marketing themselves. If you think the adult games creators on Patreon gain all their pledges and supporters from this site alone, think again. You will never be able to tell people to stop support something, and then support something else in stead without them want to do so. It's pointless. It's like try tell someone that vote for some right wing party to start vote left, or other way around.

You don't think the likes of Team Nimbus with Cloud Meadow fetching 19k+ a month is due to their awesome game do you?

Life never been about what is fair or deserving, if it had you wouldn't have people working minimum wage jobs that doesn't even cover a living wage.

Who hasn't released an upadate in the last year and a half out of those creators? You are delusional if you think promoting this kind of games is like promoting Oreos.

Check the views for the top games here...millions of views. Hundreds of thousands of replies. Name another site that provides this much free views.

Where do you "market" porn? Youtube? Facebook? Steam? The New York Times? Seo on Google? Do you think we all are 12 year olds here?

I get the propaganda but at least be smart about it.

Also

847
patrons
$8,443
per month

He always has this ratio 10 dollars per patreon. He always had it. Seems there is something there for 10+ patreons. No update tho for a year and a half....

But okay... Keep "marketing" this scam.

sob as a creator on Patreon you don't gain patreon's out of nowhere. The creator need to market him/herself and get their product known out there to gather interest. Patreon as a site does not promote or market the creators on the site. If you create a creators account on Patreon and never do any effort what so ever to bring yourself out there. How would people get to know and gain interest in support whatever the creator do?

You can create the best game in the world and gain no attention what so ever, if people never get to know about it. Meanwhile someone can release some mediocre hack, make a lot of awareness about it and get a lot of support.

When people start cry about game x need more support than game y, because... reasons.. M'kay, How will you see that happen? Why does game x have more support than game y? If a game that had no update for over a year, does better than a game that receive monthly updates. What does that creator do better than the other? What does creators such as DarkCookie and Team Nimbus do that excel so much higher than any of the others in terms of income? It's not due to "top notch" games. Summertime Saga isn't bad, but there is other games on this site that is better. Cloud Meadows? Please, it fall short to just about anything on this site.

What comes after Glow? It'll be interesting once these update titles start sounding like the dev's shopping list. Soap, macaroni, laundry detergent...

Is there a way to get fake patrons, like fake followers on Twitter? I'm asking because I genuinely ignore it.

You pay the moment you sub to someone, so yes and no.
Fake account with stolen credit cards but it's more trouble than legit sub. People like to sub to anything theses days

Does even any creators give access before pledge is verified and processed these days? I known in the past some creators did post screens showing how a lot of pledges was fraudulent.
