The funniest part is how he adds "rewards" that I bet nobody gives a flying fuck about except himself (because they are very convenient excuses). It's like he knows it and he wants to justify his extremely slow progress by pushing the idea that people are getting something in return, to please the masses. It would be like facebook constantly reminding its users that their service is free in giant banners, so as to occlude any criticism of their questionable practices (like the massive amounts of data they harvest).
These "rewards" are only rewards for himself, since I can bet most of his patrons are unaffected by them in any meaningful sense, while he gains a fantastic excuse to delay the game's development even more, or to justify his slow progress.

Very true, 99.9% of the patrons and the gallery surely give not a damn about the "rewards", gumdrop is rewarding himself with more money. Actually this one reason I chose "Donnerwetter" as a song for him, because while the singer goes on about how great he and his comrades are in the end you see clearly they are only lazy lechers, taking the job only for the money and women.

As a side note, I'm 80% sure he is being purposely misleading about how he uses his hardware; plenty of other devs also render very slow scenes like sunsets consistently. And many of those even have full blown animations. I'm not 100% sure because I don't have a top graphic card, but he claims to have several of them. If he was not happy with the renders and he was doing a lot of rerendering he should be honest about it. That his bottleneck is the hardware is starting to be laughable. He would have to be a total noob on Iray to get such massive bottlenecks with his supposed hardware.

The only bottleneck gumdrop can have with his supposed hardware is his laziness. Heck, you can churn out great renders even without(!) a GPU card. For a test, I installed Daz, put it on 1920 dpi, filled the pic with two persons and many props to get Hotel load and rendered it with just CPU and internal GPU. Took 20 minutes, with my totally unspecialised home pc. Gumdrop supposedly has render specific hardware PC, several in fact. No way in hell or paradise that he has a render bottleneck.

"Thank you" for this totally unneeded insult! It is one thing to simply bash, which most of us DO NOT, another pointing out strange stuff or outright lies. It would not be the first time gumdrop lied.
Actually I know writer´s block quite well myself, anybody writing stuff has it one time or the other, but then he should just tell it. Honesty goes better than lying. Gumdrop has laready annoyed quite a number of fans with his actions, fans who would normally be there to pledge for his second game.

LOL! Are you a relative of Max Merkl, who famously wrote in the foreword of one of his books "If someone feels insulted that is what I intended"? My English is not the best (non-native speaker) but I understand quite well. You wanted to insult, at least you are quite honest about it. Problem is that to really insult me at least, you´ll have to do more. German is no stranger to swearwords and very direct, so to insult you have to work or use specific insults.
But anyway, interesting to see a patron of gumdrop posting.

I never played that game for an long time because I'm not an fan of Detective/PI game's books anything boy was that an mistake, it's quite simply one of the best Adult game's I've ever played. Top 5 easy.

Yep, looks like he will be finished in an few month's too I mean compare that to this game here done in an about an year good storyline, excellent renders, loads of sex scenes ,done in an fraction of the money that an lot of other top dev's get, and all done by himself what an guy!

lots of devs have an account on this site and discuss their game here, that shows that these devs care about their game and look to improve it. on the other hand we have gumdrop. devs like him that are only interested in $$$, are avoiding this site, because they're only interested in their income, and they'll milk it while they can. his excuse is old pc/hardware, yet he makes 10k a month and can't buy a new one? gtfo
the real problem is his patrons. 4 months with no update and they're still giving him money? wow you must be quite rich if you wanna waste your money on nothing
it' a shame though, i really like this game, the mother is the most realistic milf i've seen in an adult game
