It's just factually not abandoned you can have whatever opinion you want on the developer and you're welcome to criticize him but labeling this as on hold or abandoned would be dishonest no matter how frustrated you are with the development time.

Most people in this thread don't pay him its kind of the nature of the site. The reason why the game can't be labelled as abandoned is because Gumdrop still periodically posts progress updates the games you mention as being abandoned without announcement are because the developers completely ghost. Whether you like it or not slow progress is still progress.
