Becoming patron you are supporting development, but literally nothing is granted. It's like Kickstater: you don't buy the finished product. Deal with it.
For the sake of clarity, I don't approve what GD does, but there is nothing you can do about it. He doesn't break the Patreon rules in any way.

You've been posting in this thread for so long just telling people to "deal with it" that I don't really take you at your word when you say that you don't approve of what gumdrop does.

My point was that "development" isn't taking place. Maybe there's a loophole that he can freely abuse, but checking the guidelines of patreon I have found this:

I'm sure you could interpret this in different ways, but not having any content for 2 years seem to fit the bill to me pretty clearly.

Mmm why are you pretending our last talk was last month? It was like a week ago. I've reported him but I didn't expect Gumdrop to be banned right away. It's a long process & Patreon will have to review DF.

It generally takes patreon awhile to check on things and the more money someone is making the slower they usually are at dealing with it. Look at how long it took them to go after Mr. dots and the DEV of BB they wanted to milk them for as long as they could before having to boot them from the site or force them to do what they wanted.

By the way, it would be hilarious (and I imagine everyone would call it a clear scam) if he made Act I in ten parts, Act II in ten parts and then promised Act III, released Part I finishing just before anything steamy happened and then disappeared. In effect, assuming patron count would go up steadily over time, gumdrop would have then received a couple million dollars for a porn game that did not feature any actual porn (not between main characters, at least).

But there'd still be plenty of people being screwed! Hey-o!
