I understand where you are coming from, but let's not get ahead of ourselves with the content of Happy Summer and its updates
. Lackluster updates from devs making adult games are sometimes jokingly refered to as handholding sims. There have been several updates after more than 2 years of development. Where all you get is an update of you literally only holding hands. Most often with a shoehorned in filler LI. It's really bad with both of these games.

What you have to know is that there are now two different games. The first one is what it is, usually referred to as the legacy version. If it says "Part II" anywhere in the title kill it with fire. It will instantly give you every STD known to man and drive you to madness as you are left abandoned and alone to scream into the endless abyss of an indifferent universe.

The old game and all that was promised is gone. The developer is releasing nonsense to keep Patreons and nothing since the original release has progressed the story.
Best to just enjoy it for what it was and move one. The good news is that this site has access to some really great titles and creators. Have and look and maybe either throw a few some dollars on Patreon or buy a title on Steam to help development.

Devs milking the fans by releasing shitty tiny updates every few months is unfortunately a very common thing and I'm sure we can all name tons of examples of that.
This is like next level trolling though.
I can't think of another Dev where it feels like they're openly mocking the fans with the updates like this one does. The updates are absolutely fucking David Lynch style bizarre. Skeletons in sunglasses and all that sort of shit.

In case the blue balls gets too much for anyone in this thread. You should give puzzled life a look. The haircut of the milf might be different, but otherwise they look somewhat simular. The gameplay is not the best, but there is a full save in the OP and instructions of where the save folder is in the "cheat code" tab.

Well, 325 people still seem to be believers. And at $7 for his lowest tier, that's over $2200 per month. Figure he's living in his girlfriends place or on social housing or sumtin and that's a lot of Meth you can buy. That shit goes for around $10 gram around here.
I'm actually being serious... I lost my favourite game a long time ago when the lead dev got hooked on that crap and then pissed away his company. He actually called all his employees outside to the parking lot at lunch and fired them there, then ran back inside. The game limped along on life support for another year or two with Sony trying to keep the lights on, but it died eventually and had no content in that time. And I heard that the dev eventually committed suicide years later. This was a famous guy too.. don't want to name names in a public forum but it involved the guy who created one of the first MMO's.. a game with a "E" and a "Q" in it's name.
As for those 325 sheeple... I would bet a lot of them are just the type that put something on their credit cards then forget about it. Don't laugh, but my buddy was experimenting with websites way back in the beginning days of broadband and he made some basic porn sites. Just put a bunch of licensed pics up and charged $25 on people's credit cards. He said most of his subscribers never cancelled, even after he stopped updating the pics. He eventually just flipped the businesses and domains to a bigger shark for $$. But it's amazing how many people who have excess income let money bleed.
