I am running into the same issue. Did this break for anyone else on the latest Windows 11 update? Tried the fix and its not working for me.

*Edit: Weird resolution. Found that the game works on my C drive but not on any other drives. Also if it starts bugging out on C drive, try loading the other exe and then exit it and retry the mod exe. If you cant close the other exe then use task manager to do it.

Did you manage to get the game running? I used the default game installation location and added the patch, not getting any version of the .exe that has "mod" tacked onto it and when choosing to open the .exe that runs the game I'm given the weird error code below. Tried to run the compatibility version with windows 8 but that didn't work. I didn't use daemon tools or anything like that. Followed the instructions for installation, not sure what to do now.




Edit: Found the fix, had to go to the games page on vndb.org and grab the windows 10 compatibility patch. Moved the files from the patch into the game folder and it ran fine. Only issue is the text being hard to read with letters merging and being oddly spaced. Can't change the fonts and in-game font settings don't help when the letters themselves are inside of each other. It's readable but makes you feel like you're dyslexic. if anyone knows a fix to the butchered font lmk
