Fairly certain I have my locale and everything set correctly too just in case.

It's definitely a language/locale issue. On my computer without japanese system locale set, I had to use 7-zip's command line to set the encoding:

7z x -mcp=932 dungeon_patch_142.zip

You may be able to run 7zip through locale emulator to get the same effect, not sure. On my computer with japanese locale it displays just fine.

It's quite literally downloading the files, extracting, and then copy and pasting them into the game files. If you learn to do this very simple process, then you can play the modded game right away rather than hope someone will do it for you. Give a man a mod and he'll goon for a day, teach a man to mod and he'll goon for the rest of his life.

Here's a simple guide.

Step 1: Download the base game and ensure its updated. Use the original thread, since that is updated far faster than this thread. Starting from scratch, download the full English release from the first post there and then the full english translation patch (assuming it's a more recent version than the full english release).

Step 2: Extract both downloads, then copy the files from the patch into the release folder. The parch files should contain a patch2.xp3 file which needs to be pasted in the same folder as the game executable. when the computer asks , copy and replace the files.

Step 3: Download the mods you want. First here check that the mod version is for the game version, since if it's not that can break things. For the CCmod (the main one) go

. Click the code button and then there is a menu which has download options. Most likely you should download as zip. Then extract those files, followed by copy and pasting them just like the previous translation patch files.

You're done.

The only other thing you may need to do is if you want to use multiple mods, in which case you may need to rename their patch3.xp3 files to a higher number before the copy and paste part. To do this you need to right click the file, select rename, and simply right the next higher number.

Yea I know and have done all of this, though it's worth noting in that other thread there isn't a full version for 1.42, just the english translation path for it as the full english release there is 1.37. I tried downloading the 1.42 patch update here a few posts previous and ran into issues despite my locale being set to japanese. I also didn't see an options menu anywhere to even check if that mods were installed correctly and working either.

So I was mainly asking because at least that way I'd have the 1.42 version of the game with the mods that's confirmed to work rather then having to manually fix whatever I have to fix for that patch and redownloading things! I do appreciate the concise and helpful information though. I mod my games a lot so I completely understand the "this person doesn't know how to do it, so I'll guide them" approach cause I've had to do similar

Damn this is so odd, I'll try your fix, I have my locale set to Japanese but it's just messing up anyway. I'll double check my settings as well just in case, cause I wouldn't be surprised if something I did or had reset it or something weird like that.

FWIW you're not missing anything from ccmod sticking with the 1.41 version, just whatever the base game patch does. And the base game patches are now at 1.44 anyway, but neither ccmod nor the translation have gone past 1.42 yet.

Gotcha, just downloaded the language pack as well and redownloaded the patch and it's still messed up like in the screenshot. Eh, it's not a big deal, I grabbed the 1.41 versions of the mods instead so it should be fine, I don't even know what the difference between 1.41 and 1.42 is anyway.

I'm almost at the end of the game but I haven't found the following items (see images) and I can't get the Armor Tester Wanted 2 and 3 quests. I care most about the missing armors (the 2 "bikini" armors between heroine and slave armors, and the 2 "other" armors left of angel's wrap and bath towel). My game is modded with CCMod.

AC is the Armor Class, your defense, the higher the better.
Strength is the range of a weapon's damage, every attack will do damage equal to a random number between the two shown.
Hits is the number of attacks a weapon can make, multiply it by the average strength and you get the average damage that weapon will do against an enemy.
Reach is the maximum distance at which that weapon can strike: S means it can attack the row in front of the wielder, M up to 2 rows in front (i.e. the row in front of the wielder and the row behind that, so if the wielder is in the front row you can hit the first two rows of enemies, and if the wielder is in the back row then it can only hit the first row of enemies), L up to 3 rows in front, LL either up to 4 rows in front or all rows, I don't know which one.

After reading the review i dont know what should I! Keep playing or stop that. Dont get me wrong the game is great gameplay, mechanics is good, story and music seem fine. But really....REALLY? Mc have only 1 scene and that after he married? Before play i think the game is about me and my best friends Max have fun time with our girl. Have I potentially soft-locked myself? I have Jump as a spell learned, but I used up all of it's spell slots and all of my jump scrolls exploring the sewers and now I can't escape. Is there a way to rest while in the sewers to get the spells back or anything?

IIRC you're shit out of luck there. You may be able to cheat it, but I personally don't know how. Your only option is to reload an earlier save (a good example of why multiple save slots are good).

Damn, I had been using just the one save slot, guess I gotta start over then.

Also I kinda wish there were actual visual differences for the characters other then race rather then just the one with a different hair color. Didn't even have to be anything extreme, just like 3 body types (petite, average and/or thicc/muscular) and like 3 hair styles would've been good. But as far as I can tell it's just the same with a different hair color which is egh. Sure it would've taken more work but it would've been worth it.
