They are present, they are above the chest that appears when you defeat the boss on the top floorAm I missing the dungeon cores somewhere in the boss room or are they just not in the game yet?
gotta perfect the dungeon. no downs, if you need help with that talk with the npc's they can give stat ups for gems... the one in front of the wagon whos rude is actually REALLY helpful. from there find a weapon that suits your playstyle.Am I missing the dungeon cores somewhere in the boss room or are they just not in the game yet?
I don't think bows are junk as you can aim with them by using your characters head as a crosshair sight. Basically wherever your looking is where you shoot your arrows and I have found this to be fairly op tactic with my current legendary bow. You can also target enemies by clicking your middle mouse button with any weapon. This doesn't always work very well though as it tends to target the nearest enemy rather than what your looking at.(Example an enemy may be fighting with a nearby ally as your being attacked by say an archer or mage from a distance which can mess up your own combat.)gotta perfect the dungeon. no downs, if you need help with that talk with the npc's they can give stat ups for gems... the one in front of the wagon whos rude is actually REALLY helpful. from there find a weapon that suits your playstyle.
bows are junk in my opinon because you cant see where your aiming.
staves are a nice option for range, but the homing can screw you over because it takes the direct path to the nearst target... dosnt path around objects a blessing in disguse against foes, they also can combo.
shortswords are fast but weak, good for counter attacking because they are also light on stamana
axes and longswords hit like a truck but also drain the stamana bar like nothing else. these are what i use, when used correctly they can kill your foes fast.
some other tips
pay attention to item effects. some will tip odds in your favor drasticly, some only really work once you get a matching pair or set.
sometimes hitting esc and forfiting is the right call, you get gems per floor regardless of performence. if your struggling dont be affraid to run till you get stronger. you get to keep the gems thankfully, and the items use this to come back stronger. nice mercy mechanic i think.
rescues make great bait for strong foes, got a cheap lifesteal boss? keep reviving your allies. lifesteal cant take more life then you got.
you'll know you got a core cus it looks like a gobstopper and its visable ON the chest.
you can do this by switching the weapon with annother. you can also swap any gear this way tooAnyone else not able to loot weapons off enemies? Even though we can steal their clothes off their backs for some reason we can't steal the weapon they're holding, I've tried binding an enemy to see if I could take their weapon away but it still won't let me.
Thanks for the tip, I found that petite mort trait with items that constantly raise lust plus a lunging longsword and something else that makes parrying a damaging shockwave makes any fight trivial lol. No more downs for meyou'll know you got a core cus it looks like a gobstopper and its visable ON the chest.
i dont mind it, because at later difficulties you NEED that kinda cheese.Berserker vampire staff is overpowered lmao. Just need 2 energy regen equips and you basically spam homing missile and it also regens you while you do so.
