Would someone check their windows install for me.

Whenever I encounter the giant in the mountain with the witch my game crashes, saying that there are missing image files.

The error suggests that in the folder game/images/mountain there should be a folder called 'giant' containing images.

I have tried both 0.73 and 0.74 from several download sources and none have the 'giant' folder.

From what I've read, the game can be progressed beyond this point so I don't understand why this folder is missing.

Would you please check to see if you have the 'giant' folder.

I’d like to know this too, I saw her on the way, each time she asking if I wanted to join her, but each time Amy would decline saying that she was busy.

gotta keep fighting monsters till the witch comes by. she either pops up sucking a goblin off or comes in with her broom asking you in both scenarios if you want to help her.

Where can I find the 'golden' witch's spirit. I have found the other three, I presume that it is in the golden caves but I have not been able to find it.

There are two locations

• the outer cave where you can search for treasure or you can go to the inner cave.
• the inner cave where you encounter the goblin king
• there is a third area but you can only go there as part of a quest and it is not interactive

I assume it is not the inner cave because you must immediately deal with the goblin king and once you have done so you get sent back to the outer cave.

So I assume it must be he outer cave but I have searched for ages and the flame has not appeared..

Am I looking in the wrong place?

I remember getting that spirit from the 3rd area there may be another quest that lead you back there.
I'm on Quest 53 in the Orc Village, I left to stock up on money and I see the area is available now.

The answer below I posted a while back might help.

The first one is at the witch's place (look at the three flames to her right).
There's one in the gold mine (where you meet the female dwarf). In the chamber where you fight all the time and get gold.
Another is in your room at Kitty's place (and not Kitty's room like the clue suggests).
And the fourth... I can't remember exactly but I'm pretty sure it's in the mountains--you know, the ones leading to the Druid's place.

And this one is even better (with screenshots for the one you're specifically asking about).

Go to the Golden Caves.

Then...

Click on "Looking for Treasure!"
Note that this option is not available when you first go to the Golden Caves. I'm not sure at which point it appears, so it's possible you might just not have this available yet in your game. You may need to complete more quests before it shows.

But if you do have that, then you'll end up here...

Note the "Wait the spirit flame!" option. Once again, I think this isn't available right away--could be wrong on this one, though, I don't recall.

So click on that when you see it, and tada!

Oh and on a side note, this cave room with the spirit flame is the best place to get gold. You can get lots more here than from a night out whoring with Kitty. You'll have to fight for it though, but it's worth it.

If you like games with female protagonists getting their asses fucked then The Pilgrimage is another great one.

Finally 0.74, been forever since 0.73 only to find out the game doesnt launch when playing on Gamcore (where my save files are).

Anyone knows if I can get the files from that webpage to lets say a downloaded version from here?
