Try updating your graphics card or installing OpenGL. I had the same problem on my old laptop, and installing OpenGL fixed it. Yours might be related to your graphics card or missing OpenGL, so check both just in case.

Oh, I meant 10 animations, sorry for the mix-up. In this update, there are only scenes with KB and Sage.

Talking to Kaelis right at the start of the game seems to cause it to freeze, I'm playing on Linux which I know isn't supported but since I can't currently check if this issue also occurs on Windows I thought I'd report it.

Yeah, it’s probably because of Linux, I've just tested it again and it runs fine on my end. Sorry that happened to you. I really wish I knew how to port it properly to Linux and Mac so everyone could enjoy the game.

If you're using JoiPlay, I'm really sorry, I don’t know much about how it works. But maybe someone else here does and can help you out. Still, you can try this:

• Use a file manager
• Go to your game folder, usually found in:
  Android/data/com.joiplay.joiplay/files/ or wherever you installed the game.
• Open the www/fonts/ folder inside your game.
• Find the font file—like mplus-2p-bold-sub.woff.
• Rename it to remove any spaces or %20 from the name.
  
  I hope it works.

Linux cares about file name case. You can copy file "withc.png_" in img/faces and rename the copy into "Withc.png_". It will help in this case
