This game has been a pleasant surprise, wasn't so sure about the plot line in the beginning, but am glad I decided to keep playing.
no need to be so arrogant and condescending about it, the guy asked a reasonable question. dev gave a deadline and when deadline was met, apparently, he didn't release or communicate what is going on and now this guy was wondering what is going on, he was even polite about it.
It's so corny when keyboard warriors release their ent up frustration on random people, I'm just mad cus I feel bad for the guy and I see so many people like you

Dev stepped on the same rake. Sunken in polishing and adding new "interesting" features. And the promised schedule flew into window again. So no, no one can tell you when upd will come. Even dev himself. Im kinda frustrated about it here too.

Day thief by checking visitors, irc, or it was monitor entrance/bring bottle to bum... i think it was checking visitors and it will be 3 or 4 to catch. Night thief by night duty, talk to manager to stay afternoon. Pills you can get from your neighbor, 1st floor, investigate around your home.

and when can you catch him, what day, morning, day or night, and how to open the only door?
Is it correct that at some point you can no longer work as a janitor anymore to make money? Just wondering if it's intentional or a bug.

You mean after completing every map? It is intentional from that point you use your powers to complete the job automatically and get paid.

This is the biggest update I've ever made.
Listing all the changes would take a week, and I don't have that much time, so I'll briefly list the major changes.
IMPORTANT! Fixed a bug that prevented some players from using Alice skill tree. Check her screen again, please.
• 34219 (!!!!!) new lines of text and code, not counting translation. (That's basically a whole book!)
• 1465 new CGs. (more than 2000+ with all new Screens, Sprites, Icons, Interface elements and Backgrounds.)
• 29 Animations (One new scene during Shoplifter quest. Patreon request)
• A bunch of new characters
• 2 Locations to explore
• Main Characters Room (+PC)
• 3 quests from the old list, 2 completely new quests, + several other events
• 9 new soundtracks and several new sounds
• 24 new items
• Fighting mechanic! (+Fighter Skill tree up to level 4)
• New game mode to disable fights.
• 4 new character skills and other machanics (Items delivery, loans, fines, subway, etc.)
• Many various improvements (Like new shopping interface, additional items description.)
• Bug fixes. ( Fixed a bug with timer screen in One Hot Day quest thanks to Drustrevi)
