We don't really know. Leading theory is that the dev just can't be arsed to make new content and just milks his patreon, but I think he got burned out trying to fix older content and is too much of a stubborn arsehole to just admit he's stuck.

You need the incest patch to access the daughters. As far as I'm aware the compressed version isn't different in anyway.
