I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but I downloaded the whole week 1 and when I got to day 4 I believe the day which has the family history and with the sauna scene I kept getting a black screen with the words "image missing 4DH02_(random number here)". Anyone got a solution?

This game is a hot fucking mess right now. Without Dark Mind there is not much to do. Old saves don't work so I am hitting space bar to get through 5g of shit I've already seen and done and without dark mind shit. With Dark Mind you just get a bunch of image missing error messages and black fucking screens. Reminds me of the cellphone mess a few months ago. This has gone from a fav I was giving money to, to a waste of money. Dev get your shit together please. I say this out of love for the game but am getting super frustrated.
Yes, you currently can't load a Week 1 save to day 8/9 Alpha so they set a few standard variables so that day 8/9 is playable without Week1. Once Day 8/9 is out of Beta we will be able to use our Week 1 saves
First tip: go into options and set skip unseen. This way you don't have to hold space bar but just tap tab once
secound: I don't get why people have issues with Dark Mind. Download Dark Mind Week 1(it's 2.4gb big), then go into the DM folder with the .exe in it select all the files and copy them into the Week 1 folder with the .exe in it.

Also I would note that if multiple people are having issues and the answer is "we don't understand why people (plural) are having issues" it isn't responsibility of the patreons to tell you why they are having problems with the code and patch only that they are and what the problem is. Fixing it falls on the dev. If it is a case that people aren't following directions accordingly than again it is on the dev to simplify. One person not able to follow directions is on the individual multiple people having issues is on the dev.
Than you did something wrong, you should also copy the .exe and everything that is in that same folder like the EcchiSensei.py from DM to Week 1.

Okay, so how do I get the week 1 dark mind patch? The patch linked in OP is the day 8/9, and throws up an error message when launching week 1

All right, time to put my five cents on this whole debacle.
I hope that most of the people that saw that the game got an update and went "Oh boy. New days? Count me in" and ignored the fact that it's an ALPHA. An alpha is supposed to have bugs. It's supposed to look like the Amazon forest with bugs.

Hell if I know friend. Maybe it was a leak, or Blue released it because every fucking month is the same fucking thing.
If you have the game, you cry that it is buggy. If the game hasn't been released, you cry that it's been ages since the last update and you need to beat the meat.
I believe that this forum is +18, but by the amount of childish tantrums, I am starting to have my doubts.
If you say that the week is buggy, you get a pass. It sucks to get a bug on a final product, I get that. Do the right thing and report it like normal people. No need to throw names around.
If you say that the 8+9 day is buggy, report the fucking bug. That's what an alpha is for. It should have been released on beta, but by then, most people would go on a Saki withdrawal.
TL;DR: Have some patience and report those bugs. At the very least Blue is doing something, or would you like him to become the new Gumdrop Games and "forget" this one?
