Think about it from the player's perspective:
When playing an incomplete game, would they not go to the one where it was always MC-only focus?
The idea being if they had it once they could add it back in. but the one that never had it, is unlikely to ever have it.
I say unlikely because... Joy/Sorrow dev happened, and Daily Lives (Milda Sento) happened.
Like... even non-H media can't get away with it anymore, like the hate for AOT ending, MHA ending, and latest one Oshi No Ko ending.
You also have the "Bends to pressure" perception (Not saying it's true, but many will just assume that).
Besides a "redemption arc" so to speak (which takes time) there likely isn't another solution.

I realized that the mistake was logical in the story itself and didn't make sense and not just for the fan base.Just saying.... probs a bit too late for that.

Those who have played the v1, knows that the ntr doesn't have any place in it and it was a logical error when the theme was always supposed to be about virgin princesses. If the dev blindsided people, It could be.
if the dev put in your face from the start and unavoidable, then I could see it.
However, the dev’s VERY first release they got instant and direct feedback and their like “Nah, not what I wanted” and in less than a day removed said content.
This Dev deserves a medal, but in speed of update and choosing his audience. Fastest I’ve ever seen in this site.
