She's a nympho. I didn't play MRD before the rewrite so I don't really know what was different, other than I heard that she was raped initially. I could be wrong. There was a rape attempt when I played it but MC saved her.
On a side note: I just finished MRD today. I just had the epilogue left, but I put off finishing it for a couple of months.

She was apparently 'blackmailed' into being gang raped everyday (or at least often enough) by some guy and his friends from her past, and like 8 updates in we find her trying to get away from him and one of the two mentions the last time they banged was like a week prior, while we were over a month into pursuing her. There was no scene shown, but it was also like the third LI where he used a rape trope/plotline so there were many issues with the entire thing.

so uhm how does the entire school believe Mark's story about the mc accusing his gf on cheating on him with Mark and going psycho. When within a week Mark is dating her. If there ever was a press x to doubt story it is that.
Not really so far it is just a flashback to how the mc's previous relationship ended and why he had to move away. So in a way but if you played the first episode this was already known

So, this is yet another developer using some excuse to include sex scenes with other men in the game without adding the NTR tag. This is a sign for me to stop playing games made by him. Thanks for replying.

so, this game has the same problem as other few renpy games, that if you press the button "mute all", it skip all animations. Thought that the game wasnt animated at first, but good i know about that bug alr from other games
First of all, I can't edit this thread, so I'm not able to add the tag. And the sex scene was just a part of MC's past, not in the moment, nor the future. I'm not a fan of NTR as well, especially when it's MC getting cucked, but it's a part of the story, so I made it skippable. However, if you want to stop playing my game without giving it an actual try first, feel free to do so. I know that I can't please everyone.
Believe me I would be feeling the same way. I hate NTR. But so far, the cheating aspect was already done in the past (you, as a player, really have no attachment towards the ex at this point, who is not an LI, at least I didn't so it didn't really hit as hard as if it were an actual LI) which is why the MC moved to a different town to start over, that's basically the set up. Now he's living his life in the new town. The NTR aspect will not carry over with the actual LIs, cause from what I can see so far, it's not an NTR focused game. Cheating was used as a backstory for the MC.

If the scene is optional, that only makes it clear that it wasn't necessary. There are several ways to make it clear that the MC was betrayed. If you went to the trouble of creating a scene, and even animating it, saying you don't like NTR doesn't make sense.
As I told you, it's all about MC's past. I want players to see and experience what MC witnessed and understand his pain. It's better to create the actual scene instead of telling everything through bunches of text. The fact that the scene is optional doesn't mean it was unnecessary, but I added it because I know there are people who wouldn't want to see the animation, on the other hand, there are people who would want the opposite.
That's all I can say. After all, it's your right to believe it or not.

He doesn't act as a cuck in the NTR scene but he acts like one for most of the game and just when he started to get out of this depressing stuff when he had the talk with Jay and Mina and starts to seem it's over we get Mark back. Seriously I hoped we could move on from that crap. Because the dev choose to show and not tell even if you picked the not look option bringing Mark back isn't a good move.

I can tell you for a fact that most games that tried this, got major backlash. you might have had less backlash ( doubt it) if everything was left in the past where it belongs, but then you went ahead and brought the actual trash who fucked the mc's woman, right into his face in the present. thats a major rage inducing mood killer right there.
and to be honest, your previous game should be a clear warning of how NOT to use such scenes ( and or vilains). unless you forgot the shitstorm about the red head and the vilain who escaped "overseas" after trying to have another li gangraped.
you might have good intentions but presentation sometimes is way different from script to image, if I make any sense.
