there is a walkthrought on the first page, or the pantreon page of the dev, so you can breeze through all the puzzleCan someone tell me how the story progresses later on? I tried this and was quite bored after about 3 puzzles. The initial worldbuilding seemed fun, but I have zero interest in puzzles. I will get through them for the sake of a good story but currently I find it hard to continue. Is there going to be a continuous single narrative going forward or will it keep being a bunch of disparate puzzles joined together?
I can breeze through them without the walkthrough they're not that hard. What I want to know is, does the story become worth that? Is there anything else to the story later on or does it just keep being like going to places and solving puzzles?there is a walkthrought on the first page, or the pantreon page of the dev, so you can breeze through all the puzzle
Where did you stop playing? Did you make it out of the hotel room, met everyone, and into the new world? I would say keep playing until you make it to Ravena's world and a bit after that. This will give you a general idea of where the story is going and if it is for you.I can breeze through them without the walkthrough they're not that hard. After finishing the riddles you will be sent to a standard fantasy isekai world and there will be some story there, also you'll meet some new characters as well. Writing and art gets better by every update, the progress is significant. Although, to be perfectly clear, the story itself as of now is pretty standard, with a lot of potential for further chapters. Can someone tell me how the story progresses later on? Okay ill give it a try till we reach a new world. I was more worried that the story would just be the puzzles more and more. After finishing the riddles you will be sent to a standard fantasy isekai world and there will be some story there, also you'll meet some new characters as well. I definately recommend to try to get the main part of the game and then give it a chance for at least few scenes.
Hi! The game has more puzzles as it continues. We are adding a puzzle-free mode in 0.5 for those of you that don't like them, though! And the narrative takes more and more shape as the story progresses. At around the end of 0.2 I sat down to fully plot out the story and it's been set in stone for the past 7 or 8 months! Can someone tell me how the story progresses later on? Well I got caught up with everything, honestly I generally like the puzzles they are not too complicated and they are entertaining enough if you try them without getting too obnoxious, except the one about finding the 5 keys which was way too dark for my screen.I keep seeing many Mexico references... Are any of you devs from there? I just find it curious
I am still early on, but I think Ravena is my favorite so far.
FnB Productions - I also have really enjoyed the game thus far and am excited for Chapter 5!!Anyway, I enjoyed the story and the game a lot, good job!
I found the game to be a bit dark in general - not just with respect to the mini-game the commenter mentioned..... which was way too dark for my screen.
Hi Commander Booty, I fully agree. Lighting has been a thorn on my side for a long time but we're getting there. I've been working for a while with ChainZ, the developer of the upcoming game Divine Intervention, on how to actually do lighting properly. It's been absurdly helpful to also take notes from how other developers do their scenes, which hopefully I'll be able to translate properly into our game. I am confident that Chapter 5's visuals will leave many people impressed with how much the visual quality has improved!FnB Productions - I also have really enjoyed the game thus far and am excited for Chapter 5!!

But going along with the implication of this other part of the comment....

I know color toning, lighting and environment controls are tricky and telling you to "make the game ligher" and "have more contrast" are easier said than done. I get that, I do... but I would be remiss if I did not suggest it as a way to overall improve the visual quality of the game imho. Another directional light source as well as another soft ambient light source could help the overall vibrancy of the colors and contrast of the characters, helping them be more distinct from the backgrounds and generally more appealing to the player.
Just like in TV and movies, the scenes do not have sacrifice visual clarity for the sake of realism. There is already a necessary level of 'suspension of disbelief' when it comes to porn games so no need to rely on trying to approximate natural lighting exclusively for each setting.
Awesome to hear and I am looking forward to seeing the results of your hard work!Hi Commander Booty, I fully agree. Lighting has been a thorn on my side for a long time but we're getting there.
