I bought it on Steam and I just get a blank screen while music plays and can't get past that since latest update, was fine before update, I blame Drake.
It seems like this is the last update for Eleanor and the last game for Eleanor according to what the developers have been saying.
It doesn't make sense that in this update they make Drake an Alpha and Eleanor is made really naive and all of a sudden she is crawling to him all the time. In first Eleanor she lands Drake in prison by getting with Drake's business partner and testifying against her husband, he would also get very angry that she use to max out his credit cards, after he comes out of prison, she has is successful at what she does with many different choices of career paths and Drake was a loser all down and out, this is how Miami should have been like a continuation of that and Drake would never leave Eleanor no matter what she did. Miami is just like a different story altogether with the same characters.
In Miami, Eleanor is helping others, and sucking up to Drake all the time, that's not Eleanor.
The problem is LOP do to many projects all the time, this is what affected the last update of the previous Eleanor release part 3 in the saga the orchid one, the better game for sure and the Miami release, they promised it would be full on 3D and it isn't.
In previous game (Orchid) last update just watch the animation of Eleanor with the guy across street from her apartment getting it on, it's terrible, it's like 1980's cheap cartoon animations or if you get paper cut outs and string and by pulling the string they move up and down kind of thing. The newest games the characters are like foam sculptures or blow up dolls, it's better than nothing, the animations look tacky for such an experienced team, it's poor effort, quality has taken a hit.
In conclusion the latest Drake expansion is trying for a happy ending, but I doubt it will make the actual users happy.
