That doesn't really matter. I already said earlier that other devs may be looking to copy it in some way and then, my criticisms still stand.
The funny thing is that this argument is never made if someone is making statements that are agreed with. In which case, it's "constructive criticism" or what not. In reality, the same things stands... it doesn't matter one way or another. If that is truly the case though, why have any comment section at all?
Like I also said earlier... I won't fuel an echo chamber. If you like the game, that is fine... my opinion shouldn't change that.

You really think other developers are looking at this thread for constructive criticism of a game that's over 5-1/2 years old? You must really love tilting at those windmills.

People do come here on occasion to say they liked the game; then they leave, most likely never to be heard from on this thread again. Why should we argue or even bother to agree with them? Makes no sense, as it would be a complete waste of time at this point in the game. Others of us defend the game against the occasional troll - not saying that you're one. But you are persistent.

But I don't really see you as attempting to influence developers, but rather to persuade newcomers NOT to play the game.

Let me guess, though, you're a lawyer, right?

Oh hey look... ANOTHER flippant answer!

I'm not claiming to try an influence anyone or that I am a lawyer... Like YOU... I am expressing my opinion on a game. IF some other dev happens to see it, cool... do I expect it? no.

But hey, gatekeep the comments all that you want it still wont stop me from making my own observations.

My argument is
1) I don't really care if random internet person on a fapping forum likes me and my opinion or not but I won't just add to the Dev wanking in an echo chamber. You can all get your jollies that way... I won't
2) The Dialogue and female character writing is horrible in the game we are discussing. Your anger at this wont change that...it is really, truly atrocious. Example - The stereotypical Big Black dick asshole is being an abusive prick so Elena declares "HE'S SO MANLY"...it's cringe at it's finest.

If you feel personally attacked by that... well, that is your problem and in no way mine.
Unless you have something better to offer than butthurt over a comment about a game you have no part in developing, I'm going to just ignore anything else you say.

The real issue I have is what it's always been... cringe worthy dialogue and bad writing. Not sure why when it is started so clearly, you all can't understand that. Nothing ulterior. I just find that aspect of the game to be shit... that's it. You all made a mountain out of a molehill and got all butt puckered over it... not me. Roflol

Came here to see what happened to the game and there's some whopper meal with a side of nuggets boasting about how he's been married twice and has sexual experience? I mean if your sexual experience was to a standard, maybe your ex-wives wouldn't have left you? Now you spend your times trolling on a forum like this, call everyone children, because none of your wives wanted children with you and it's something you long for.

Man... times are hard for this guy. I bet you have pronouns in your Twitter bio as well - confused/man. :cry:

IF he ever shows back up on Patreon, I'll ask him your question.

He has suspended payments. I don't know if that has to be done on a monthly basis or not. But, at least he hasn't shut down his Patreon site. That's thin gruel, I know. It's a shame that this has happened so close to the finish.

They have to be manually paused each month, so that's at least something.

To be honest, there was only a single update remaining, so you wouldn't have been able to enjoy it for much longer anyway. Personally, I think it could have gone on for much longer, and the Dev decided to finish the game just when Elena was starting to let loose and have some real fun. In so many of these types of games, you end up being disappointed, because you get a rushed ending. A lot of Devs just run out of steam in fem protag corruption games, a long time before their heroines get corrupted enough, to finish the game in a satisfying manner.

I think the Dev of this game ran out of the desire to continue with it, and decided to finish it off prematurely. Unfortunately, RL then stepped in, to cut short even that rather abrupt ending. So maybe it's just as well that he did, because at least we got endings on some of the paths.
