Man, that s such a damn shame. That s exactly why I stopped supporting those devs. Right after the first release, they just dropped occasional updates on Patreon and called it a day. They straight-up couldn t bother to talk to their backers. It s the same old story… Some dudes make a dope game, but if they ain t raking in millions after a month, they just lose interest and ghost the project. That pisses me off. The devs don t even have the balls to come clean about why the game s stalled. Like, sure, if someone s got personal issues, that s cool… but you gotta ALWAYS keep it real and communicate. Man, oh man… this is straight-up shit........:( RIP Kara...my secret love...!

I don’t think the fault lies entirely with the developers. The game simply didn’t have any reach. 69 pages in this discussion is really very little and clearly shows that, for some reason, there wasn’t much interest in this game. Yet in my opinion, it was among the best things that appeared here. And logically, if only a few players here knew about it, then they wouldn’t have much support on Patreon either. They could have tried it on Steam, and maybe that would have been successful. But it’s a shame—I thought for a long time that this would happen when I saw how little interest there was. And I believe that when there isn’t much interest, and therefore not much money either, it naturally kills the developers’ motivation.

Dunno, they still make 170$ without even existing or doing any kind of work.

Imo a lot of these devs surrender way too early and have way too unrealistic expectations. Esp with your first product you have to really push content and renders out there, get 5-6 good and juicy updates in a row and you can build momentum.

But there is a lot of competition so you have to be reliable and ongoing, just one or two chapters wont convince the majority to really support a project longtime on patreon.

You have to invest in your project and commit to it to reap longterm rewards but it feels like some devs expect huge paychecks from the very beginning.

You also need a stroke of luck, as they say, “being in the right place at the right time.” Maybe promote the game on platforms like Reddit or even drop a SFW YouTube trailer...

It really is a shame. This was one of my very favorites. It is rare to see a character as pretty as Kiara because very few devs take the time to truly make great renders. I hope they read some of our thoughts and think about putting up episode 5 which they said was almost completed.

I'm not the type of person to care about sex scenes or anything like that I want a good story and romance
But the last update was kind of disappointing, it was just the MC going in different locations, having short conversations, and the end
But still, I'm really, really heartbroken that it was abandoned
I hope it's not really abandoned, but abandoning

Your game without even making one statement is really crappy
