WARNING I'M NOT FLUENT IN ENGLISH I ONLY KNOW 20% OF SPOKEN ENGLISH SO I USED A TRANSLATOR: Firstly, the mc's personality is complete rubbish, with that personality he wouldn't be able to find any woman. Furthermore, it is unbearable to be around him, as he is still childish when he has lived for over 500 years!!? AS HE HAS NO WISDOM AT ALL! HOW, the game can't explain important things to the player, how am I going to make important decisions like that? What it is about MC that attracts women isn't his personality, I know, it's probably his face but he's uglier than me plus the dialogue is super bad. And Dev will kill the game if we play with the MC's son, like there's no logic in us playing with him, Dev doesn't like constructive criticism another game that was good and was abandoned was VIS by Dev Mad King Games, which introduced a system similar to that of the wheel.

I have a question, if we make Silas ignore women, does that mean the main MC ignores them too? I want all the women for the main MC and no other guy. Also, why did the Dev force the players to play as a different person?

Man i just downloaded this and tried it out. The game started so good but I am not sure what happened. It went from a typical adventurer story with a cute elf into some crazy shit with goddesses and I honestly just got bored of it. Especially when the elf was removed from the story and whatever happened to the blonde ex gf that showed up. Im not sure if different choices would lead to a different outcome or not but at that point I was just holding down the skip button to see if the elf girl made a reappearance. Do the choices in this game matter? Did i end up on a bad route or some shit. What happened....

I am looking forward to Book 2. I agree with those who feel that Lyria got done wrong, but it is clear from the events leading up to her leaving that she should. However, I would liked to have seen the MC make an effort to keep her around.

That all said, I hope there is a return of Lyria, especially now that the MC has re-aligned his goals. Of course, all this would have been wiped out by the Wheel of Fate DLC that I am waiting to play.

Well, I don't usually look ahead, but I was already iffy about this story after the tectonic shift it took in the middle of the second half of the first chapter, so finding out my fears were possibly worse than I originally suspected make it an easy decision not to continue. So that's good.

There wasn't anything WRONG with the part that I played, other than feeling like I was getting whiplash from the story before it even felt like it got going, but I could tell the type of story being told wasn't really for me, and poking my head in here has confirmed that for me.

You know decent Dev's care what their readers think, and at least he should do a poll whether or not to re-introduce Lyria, he created a character that too many people really liked / loved and that is the crux of the problem for him. If you did not want to keep her you should not have started the love affair with her, Elfs mate for life
Porn games really do give people a particular type of brainworms.

It's the dev's story. It's a long story of multiple books with a wide scope. You are demanding they change the entire thing because you caught feelings for some pixels.

I was also saddened by lyria's exit, but the current state of play makes perfect sense from a character perspective. Apparently she WILL be returning to the story at a later date anyway.

You could argue that the dev made a mistake in the way he curated their relationship because it created certain expectations, but a key part of the plot if the MC basically abandoning his past life and personal desires to go on some ideological crusade. Those expectations are your problem. Are AVNs just not allowed to ever have female characters die or leave? It's a ludicrous notion. I hope you never play 'the neverwhere tales' because if an elf no longer being an LI gets you upset you'll never recover.

It's also not helped by f95 and this thread previously having a banner that portrayed her as a key LI and the sample pictures showing her multiple times. Someone should really change and update the latter.

There's a long character arc. There's plenty of time for characters to reappear or disappear. get over yourself

Alright, whiteknight. The dev is the one that changed their minds after release. They changed the plot, got tired of Lyria, and was gonna kill her off outright. Why? Reasons.

They then came out with an update, calling it DLC (which is bullshit, because it was mandatory and was actually a patch), which broke saves, had a fuckton of bugs, and then had a fucking meltdown when people had the nerve to complain.

Yeah, some people were fucking ridiculous and egregiously abusive. This is a gooner site, what would you expect? There were some valid complaints and reasons for even fans to get angry or frustrated. Don't whitewash away people's justified feelings just because you disagree.

No, this is not Book 2. YET.

What this is, is continuation, aka after events of Chapter 5 from Book 1. Wheel of Fate acts as a bridge between Book 1 and 2, aka the events that lead into Book 2.

This isn't a side story, it is expansion to initial story and where it ended. When that armored cunt pops about. This is set six months after that cliffhanger, and you basically continue from there.

Just that there is a lot more to it. You will also at some point through Wheel of Fate, witness the combat scene that happened and events after that when Eliot vanished after that fight.

It all ties into here. So, once again, this isn't a filler, this isn't a side story or rework. This is expansion. Wheel of Fate is a bridge between Book 1 end, and Book 2 start. You're just crusading right now till Book 2 will be produced.

So yes, this is continuation. With every new act, you'll see how things start to come together and more is revealed.

As for save files, it is highly likely they will not work given the size and scope of the update. But... read the patch notes. Look for Chapters Select in main menu, jump wherever you were, or if you already finished Book 1, then choose DLC option. It will allow you to name the character to whatever name you were using, and you can continue.

Nothing lost.
If this is starting from chapter 5 than , Please explain why the Demons are already settleing as a kingdoom in the wheel of fate?. That sapos to happen after the end the Falenga war, Its all getting mix-up (for me). I think Thats why your fans are upset and you can see the last few days is complaints. It would have been better if the quest in season one were completed than we all would be happy to see the latest release of Wheel Of fate.
Best to complete the two quest outstanding ..the fight with the iron man & Sailas quest.

They adapted the plot to give her some more screen time without changing the story in any way.

You are asking them to completely rewrite the plot because he *wrote a character too well*. That's not how stories work. Again i suggest playing 'the neverwhere tales' to understand that someone being a compelling character and love interest doesn't mean they're going to be around forever.

But it's not a valid complaint. It's just people screeching into the void because a story didn't have a plotline they wanted.

It's an unfinished product. It will be subject to change. Sometimes advances in tech on their own mean that the entire game needs to be started afresh (see desert stalker).

I decided to start over due to the save issue, but I'm enjoying the story so far, though I too want Lyria for my elven girlfriend.

I bought this game on Steam, I didn't steal it from here. It was not sold as "early access" or any of that shit. It was supposedly the entirety of Book 1, next book would continue the story. Only patches expected, at that point, would be bug fixes or feature additions. NOT AN EARLY ACCESS GAME.

The problem was that the game didn't meet the dev's somewhat ridiculous expectations. The game was interesting, but nothing extremely wonderful. It was good, not great. Art was good, LIs were hot, great worldbuilding and decent plot, animations and sex mostly boring and unimaginative.

It wasn't hyped enough. Note the lack of mods and walkthroughs available, no fan-made content, it doesn't have a following. Why were they expecting high sales? Everything after that was a total clusterfuck.

Look, gooner, just because you have reading comprehension issues, don't blame me. Think literally whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me. Drool over your dev all you want.

I never asked anything of the dev, just explained the facts which you choose to ignore. I never said to give Lyria back (which today's post indicates that he's doing, despite saying that he wouldn't), just explained why I was upset she was removed. My only choice is whether I choose to continue with this game (which, again, I paid for), or to just wipe it from my drive and move on. There's no shortage of games to play.

Wow you are really into the Dev eh! He has a responsibility to his readers - if he doesn't get them to like/love the story he is the one that dies. So when he made the mistake to get them together in the first place he was screwing with the readers minds. And also in the fantasy world the characters are not supposed to be just pixels they are real in this story, no less than a person reading a book

The dev also made sure we know that Elves mate for life, never cheat, etc.. Why would we be upset if we mate with her, then she disappears?

Welcome to the reason that that tv and film is dying. And the reason so many AVNs get abandoned.

The dev also made sure we know that Elves mate for life, never cheat, etc.. Why would we be upset if we mate with her, then she disappears?
The MC died. They DID mate for life :p
