Good game, but I don't remember seeing anything sexual in it though. There's pregnancy but it's not in sexual way. Is this like a NSFW modded version?

No, it's the regular version of Elona+.
It's a good game, still somehow being worked on, I think, but as far as being... usable... there's not much there. The controls are also not that intuitive (especially for the average porn gamer), as the single 1-star review can show you. It's probably disingenuous, or at least unfair to the game itself, to put it on F95.
It is both. The lack of a "no sexual content" tag is disingenuous in and of itself, but most games with those tags on this site are at least in the direction of games with sexual content (dating sims being the primary one). Putting a version of Elona that lacks any sort of adult mods on a site for adult games is incredibly unfair to the game, as it makes undeserved implications as to the game's content and overall themes.
An unmodded version of the Sims is more deserving of a place on this site than Elona by the standards of "having adult content"

Is there a way to use more of the portraits in character creation? It doesn't let me go past 30 or so and most of the good ones are way further down the image.

The controls are questionable.
The attract going down for the "Lets chat/talk" is odd.
Everyone moving while I move just gives a headache, there's no way to tell who you can talk to without running into them but even then all the sprites don't stand out from one another.
I like the idea of creating a character then sending them out to a world but this doesn't do it for me.

Btw is there any version of this that has any form of the Moongate stuff or has that still not been recreated? It used to be really funny to just go into a Moongate only to get instantly annihilated by a random Touhou custom NPC the map creator made.
I think the idea is that if you bug them enough they get annoyed and don't want to talk to you anymore. There's a strong sense of stuffing r e a l i s t i c features that aren't actually fun into it. I'm seeing features that sound like things redditors would come up with in a whorl of Idea Guys who always have a tab of TVtropes open circlejerking into a frenzy of bad design decisions but just as often there are weird and hilarious ones. Whoever designed this must have no filter.
This game is honestly one of the best games I ever had the pleasure of discovering, at least conceptually, there is something special about finding legendary armor and eating it by mistake because it is made of meat, going arround with your little girl "pet" (which is probably the best of the starting pets since it effectively works like a mini player), having a home impressive enough to summon your favourite god/des and convince them to live with you just to realize you have to kill them to have the most powerful artefact they can offer, I could go on forever, this game has a lot of sexual references and clearly sexual interactions like the "petting" minigame but they are mostly implied, the game is mostly text and sprites so nothing really esplicit is shown but honestly it does not matter, the controls are sadly not new player friendly but if you are used to keyboard it is a little easier, the game has a lot of shortcuts but it also has a simpler control sceme with less keys, the controls can be found on the wiky, that should always be open in a different window anyway in my opinion.
In conclusion this is an absolute gem of a game that anyone that likes complex interactions should play, I still have no idea what it is doing here but I have seen games with even less sexual content here so I am not that surprised, I actually first discovered elona in a very strange way, I saw an MMD of touhou where marisa leaves alice to play this game, it was a very strange video and I do not remember the name but after I was curious if the game existed and then I found it on google, after that I researched the game and found out about the rest of the absurd stuff and I fell in love with the craziness, any games with this kind of crazy interactions deserves a try in my opinion, I really like games with high level of interactivity, I also would like to play the adventure mode of dwarf fortress but in that case the controls are way too complicated.
P.S. This is a bit different from my usual style, as this in my opinion is not a porn game I treat it with a different approach, it serves a different function, so I let more of my original gamer out I guess, I hold porn games and not to very different standards, I also like a much broader variety of normal games than my admittedly narrow minded taste in porn, I still found the courage to write in a porn game site before a normal one despite me being extremely uncomfortable with the genre somehow, and I am not sure I ever will find that courage, but maybe this is a step in the right direction.

After doing a little research it looks like the answer to the portraits thing is to use the 40 custom portraits slots and just laboriously crop the ones you'd like to use from the main faces image and add them as customs (or any other face you'd like to use but I'm fine with the default set, just not the first ~30 or so).
I'm surprised I haven't heard of this before now; it seems like one of those legendary doujin games. No idea how old it is but I was surprised by how much character customization it has even down to ambiguous genders. I wonder if this was one of the first games to offer something like that. It's even charming that the labels for them are like "...girl?? boy???". I like that.

don't give people ideas, before you know it someone will post a 100gb version of skyrim with LL, 200+ followers, anime fight style animation system, max ray casting, 4k texture add, korea mods which adds anime followers that breaks the lore and hand holding.
