Strictly speaking, it talks about the deadline for further development work after doing necessary core work being today (yesterday here in the UK) not about the actual release of the resulting update, though, yeah, it's due soon... any time now... At least, being less than a week ago, the update shouldn't be too wildly inaccurate. Right?
And there's a new update (17 hours ago) saying (extrapolating from the preview) that they're still working on bits of the planned update.
