That was one of the stronger prologues to new games like this. Solid storytelling, lore and character design all around. I wasn't bothered about the render, and the pacing was good and believable. It's also not your generic premise of couples living their lives in the suburbs and hanging out in the Shutterstock version of New York streets so lots of potential to have unique scenarios here. Looking forward to its progression!

Hey guys! Just dropping by to announce that Engineers of Shadow-Moon Station is now available on .

As for the next release, it’s still in early stages, but I have been working non-stop on it. If you want to keep up with news about the progress, remember that you can join my Patreon as free members. I have been posting stuff there on a weekly basis, including some sneak peeks on new characters.

Here's my latest .

Thank you for the support.

Hey guys!

Checking in for those that are not on Patreon. I have been working on improving the quality of the renders. Thanks to the feedback and recommendations of some members from this community I have managed some level of success in this area. Here are a couple of examples:

These are two random scenes from the prologue that I used for testing. This does not mean that I’m remastering the prologue (at least, there are no plans for this at the moment). What this means is that the next chapter will have a jump in visual quality. I’m deep in the work of Chapter 1: the writing is almost done, the programming is in an advanced stage and the render production has already started. I’ll have more to share soon.

Cool, definitely big improvements especially the second render compared to the original one. The lighting though not on a professional level is at least natural at first glance. The textures and character models are much more accurate and three dimensional, so much better for sure.

Yes you should focus on building up the momentum instead of remastering everything again. Once you get v0.02 out don't forget to change all the screenshots in here and Itch, those out of the box renders you have here now probably turn off a large number of players which is a shame since your story has good potential.

Hey there, everyone! I have some news to share. Chapter 1 of EoSMS will be released in 3 parts, 2 “early access” releases followed by the full version containing the complete chapter. The first of these releases will be available on Patreon from November 25, 2025. There will be a week of difference on the release date between the different tiers of members. After that period of time, the update will be available for free on itch.io and here on F95zone. If you don’t want to jump ahead and play early, the next patch is expected to hit this forum somewhere around December 9.

Remember that you can join my for free to follow up on the development progress with weekly posts. Other than that, here’s a couple of screenshots from the next release. Thank you, see you soon with the release of EoSMS v0.1.1.

Seems like an interesting setting here but also extremely ambitious, this is going to be a lot of work for the dev to main all these potential paths when they begin to branch out.

Agreed, With only 24 members on their patreon currently, I worry that particularly if the Dev is a lone wolf or even smaller group, they will quickly discover that the work is not worth it for them.

I’m very much aware of how ambitious this project is for a solo dev’s first AVN. But, that’s how I like it. Things already get very complicated by the end of Chapter 1 (2 patches from now) and I’m still coming back to that scene for rewrites or adjustments. It is a lot of work, but I find it fun. I have also cut back on a lot of ideas for fear of things getting out of control. It’s important to find a balance on what you can realistically handle. All I can say for now is: so far, so good.

That’s a valid concern, but I worked on this project for months while having 0 followers. The fact that now, by the time of the second release, I have any number of following makes this an even more satisfying hobby for me. I’m not making this project to get rich, I’m doing it because I find it fun.

Of course, it would be a dream to have the financial support to turn this into a full time job, but that’s extremely unlikely. So for now, I’ll continue to tackle this the same way that I have been doing it so far, depending on my available free time. With that being said, financial support is still a huge help for the continued improvement of this project. From paying for more mods/assets to maybe even one day helping me upgrade my hardware (which will mean better quality visuals, faster rendering time, etc.).

Bottom line, I’m satisfied with the current state of this project and I’m still very committed to finishing it one day.

Well, it was short but still I like it overall, really looking forward for the future. Can't see with way it will all go, but wouldn't mind some sharing/swinging with the neighbors. :p
