Poor quality? Kagura? Wut? They have some of the best translations out there and it's only recently that any other publishers come close or surpass them in any real way when it comes to translation quality.

If you think even Dazed's MTL comes even close to a proper translation, then your comprehension of the English language is shot to hell...

As for censorship in their translation... people mention that like it happens with every game... which it doesn't. When it does, it's mostly because of Steam and Payment processor shenanigans. Anyone who doesn't toe that line doesn't last long or they don't touch products that require that sort of censorship to begin with.

If you have issues with that sort of thing, maybe take a stance against the bullshit pulled by Mastercard and Visa, rather than pointing fingers at the victims of said shenanigans.

yeah, their current WIP game is in line with Celesphonia in terms of setting so I'm definitely looking forward to that one

I'm sorry, but if you can't immediately tell that the Kagura manual translation is leagues better than the GPT machine translation... I'm not even sure what the solution is. Remedial Duolingo courses? Stop gooning for a moment and pick up an actual book to discover how language works? Some of you guys make me feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

I prefer to shoot myself in my dick before spending money on a game with MTL, I tolerate MTL because they are free, if someone dares to sell games with machine translation(which already exist and I hope that their sales suffer from using this method) they will never see a penny of mine :KEK: :KEK: :KEK: :KEK: :KEK:

The moment AI takes over the market, they will go bankrupt because no one will pay for unedited translations,not even if it is made with chat gpt turbo omega 12 high quality that while it translates it prepares you a coffee

Set Windows Scaling to 100% if it isn't already. Fucks with pretty much anything that doesn't use the API to handle High DPI Awareness if it is set to anything else. Compat settings sometimes works around it, but more often than not either makes things worse or doesn't change anything.

Game is generally on par with the past 2 Shimobashira games, except for the HORRIBLE decision to make the exploration dungeons/maps a board with dice throws for movement.
While that makes the development easier and adds some tension/uncertainty, it also turns trying to trigger some events into a crapshoot. Doubly so because you are at the mercy of 2 RNG's, the dice roll to land on the space where an event happens, and the fact that said event's are random.
I have been reloading for a while to get the events of the heart spaces, and more times then not, I end up missing them and running out of throws. And when I do land on it, it usually ends up being an event that I have already seen.
I really hope that for the next one the dev either goes back to a more traditional system, or adds an option of somewhat free movement, once you have beat the level, because I hate trying to pull gacha for events.

While it doesn't specifically touch the dice pull, MV Cheat Menu plugin can edit the amounts of the items for movement or just give yourself plenty of money to buy max stack of each whenever you encounter the merchant that sells them and the keys. Preferably my edit as it prevents the God Mode cheats from breaking saves.

Art style opinion are subjective, but unless you give some examples of your good art, I'll say this is one of the top 10-20% of this site.

The reason for many positive reviews? There are some that I can think of
  • It's a complette game
  • Good gameplay for a porn game
  • MTL is very readable and now we even have official translation
  • Many scenes
  • Fun to watch the mc turn full corrupt/pure/middle way depend on your choices, kinks
So yeah, it's a very polished rpgmaker porn game, in contrast to mostly honey select/rpgmaker etc here, that are either abandoned, dev gone radio silent for months, copy paste of character renders.

This game is great, like other Shimobashira games.
Just need to wait a few days for the inevitable bugfix patch from Kagura.
