Playing this in Kali and I keep getting the following error when trying to start a new game. I am using the compressed version but just need to understand if this is a bug in the Linux conversion before downloading the full game.

Oh thanks, I'm gonna use it once i'm done with the update. Does your save have complete dolls? I'm missing a few because of the bug a cpl of updates ago n no way i'm starting again just for that

The game crashes a couple of seconds after I load other people's saves, how can I fix this?

Plus I have the same problem. I looked at the guide, but as far as I remember, in a couple of places the sequence was not according to it, probably that’s where it broke. I would like some kind of bloodless solution. I really don’t want to replay the entire game.

I have had the exact same problem... Only thing I can think of is that I got ahead of the guide with Steven and once I had given his mother the spaceship key.. she no longer appears by the pool .. or anywhere else. Whenn I hold space button down when Im at the pool it indicates ans action near the top of the pool wall (lhs as your looking at Screen).
Any advice

so i think that my game is got a glitch in it. I can't move forward because I can't make lock picks. The thing is I already did everything to get the tool to make lock picks but it just shows as a lock pick and it wont work. I picked two locks and then the lock pick stopped working and I can't make more. Any ideas how to fix this? (and like a dumbass i don't have a save before the event)
