Ok, if your going to cheat, make sure your save editor/ or cheat engine can change your attack and defense values, it helps cut the tedium down by so much. Also changing your Mp and Hp can help a bunch.

I am not sure whether I got to the same spot as you in my screenshot. Even if not, then go south from the map you are in your screenshot and take the closest southwest (left bottom) exit.

You need to find the room in the screenshot I attached and once you find it, go west.
In the looping rooms, you must always pick an exit that has no exit opposite of it (otherwise you just loop inside the room) but there can be multiple exits like that.

After heading to Lv2 I went in a cavern that immediately has a save point and pools of water which if you walk in them sends you back to the main area with the naked woman. Went to the room further in and could not find any exits other than in the screenshot which is blocked by water and a chest. Was there another place to head to?

Take either the Left or Right exits while in that room in the screenshot. Either passage will eventually end up in a room with a single big pool of water with exits going up and down, the latter leads to that blocked off chest.
Exit points in some maps can look a bit unassuming (especially so with loot rooms) but that's why this game encourages careful exploration.
There is some interesting lore stuff in the last level, if I remember which level is it correctly, the combat is generally harder and there are minigames and more variation in mechanics.
The problem is that the game is a lot of grind and even after nearly 15 hours (according to my save), I still do not have everything unlocked even though I beat the last boss (I have no idea how to efficiently level up sex to unlock more scenes).

Sounds like a commitment, EP Battle Girl already took me 13 hours too beat but this one seems even more filled with stuff to unlock.

I have too say this one is far more tedious then Battle Girl, the combat especially, still enjoyable but glad that fuyou has changed mechanics up in future titles to be more user friendly, I probably won't finish this one since it's taking me twice as long too beat levels then it took me in Battle Girl which that alone was 13 hour journey.
I never found out what the signs mean and you do not have to enter the numbers anywhere, so I think they might be just a lore thing or a decoration.
I think you need the building in the screenshot below and pregnancy. Pregnancy should be the last costume that can be unlocked but you need sex level >=11 for it (I have sex level 9 only).
