They work very slowly, it's not a secret. It's not a con, their donors are not being tricked about the update rate. You personally may think that because they apparently just don't work all that much, like not that many hours a week I guess, they don't deserve fans who donate money to them like more serious Devs. But apparently other people disagree? And it's weird that there's massive amounts of performative outrage about that!

People can make their own decisions. Nobody is morally in the wrong here, you are just mad because you want the world where everyone shares your opinions and acts how you would act, and this is evidence that some people do not have your contempt for Erahunter's unserious attitude to their jobs.

youre just arguing its fair game, which it is, going into technicalities such as "well nobody is actually being tricked despite the long waiting times", but just as the original comment i responded to "theres a lack of ethics and morals in such behaviour" the fact they can get paid by doing almost nothing for years and the very same fact several people in the thread and even outside of it find this sort of thing annoying is very telling, so yes is it fair game? absolutely but dont get surprised when they get criticized for clearly not delivering substantial updates in such a long time and getting money from it, youre getting surprised people find annoying behaviour annoying. "youre just mad they dont share your worldviews!" yep true lol, i dont really like it when a dev gets paid over nothing, hell you werent even able to make it sound nice ToT

They trickle out "content" for their other thing while ignoring this game and leaving it to rot, when this game, personally, feels a lot more interesting and better than the other... "application"

The other one is an outright clone of a game that's not only finished but has finished sequels/spinoffs, this was definitely the more interesting one

Also the other one and Naked Order punishes you for the reason you are playing them.

Have been supporting them for years in hope to play a finished EraHunter game someday. When they posted an update about suggesting them what pictures they should color, i suggested them to finish their fucking game already. They blocked me. Great developers.

this i what the anger is about, i myself, and many of the og mad people paid and supported the game,at least up until they ditched it and started the cycle of dissapearing without notice so they an keep collecting patreon money,its inexpensive enough most wont cancel, recently the changed up their act breadcrumbing the supporters, but i remember when they where friendly with the community, hell i think they even posted here for a while,i myselfwas sort of friends with the artist back then, but then they just did the usual 180 and ativey hate the supporters that actually want results, is it mean to preassure them? maybe, is it unjustified? not a bit

I read somewhere (probably in this thread) that she's supposed to be in the shower, but as far as I know, that's inaccessible. I don't think there's been any updates since then either.
I'm just glad this everyone's frustration with this project has kinda inspired others to go out, make their own, and actually either get it done or work fast enough to give updates every couple of months. Transparency and good faith is the only way you'd get supporters in this field, unless you pop out a surprised finished result to sell which usually get stuck on niche platforms.

fr bro. i played naked adventure and, its good, but this is more appealing to me because of the fantasy setting, yet its just been totally left in the dust based on what you just said (since she cant be found and no new updates since then). its very good if people are using this as motivation to make their own games with REAL update cycles and not half assed abandonment, even ive contemplated trying it (only thing holding me back is that i am NOT an artist unfortunately). you have to wonder if its because of the patreon money greed thats encouraging them to do stupid long update cycles and never finish their games. there's no way to prove it tho, so its either that, laziness, or they have an actual good reason to stop developing their game (which can and does happen)
