I'll play later, but does anyone know if the new patch fixed the issue with the 10th Guardian not being triggered in the Mass Exodus or Nuke quests?

Or am I missing something that triggers it?

That doesn't sound like a peaceful depart, but an ugly dispute?
Also right after that is the quality drop to the gutter, the dev only doing "minimum viable product", while busy making their Next game which has heterosexual, lesbian and gay? Does it also has futa and sissy?

If the dev is BI or Hetero, was only making this gay game cuz they thought it will make them more money (Less gay game, Less competition), then it's bad.
If the dev is Gay, Abandoning their WIP Gay game to make a new Game with all Sexual Orientation, cuz with much wider audience range they can make more money, then it's also bad.
(For real, How many game you see with 1-2 "avoidable" gay options, has decent gay contents? Almost none )

Sure the dev can do whatever they want, but most audiences are not stupid.
If they are not genuine with artistic integrity, rather just chase the money, it will reflect on the game they make.

This is only speculation, but it sounds like the main dev wanted to use AI stuff for both Ergi and the prequel because it's cheap and easy, and the artist was like "eww fuck that" and left. Then another artist tried to emulate what the previous one did and it ended up semi-decent alongside a bunch of AI crap. Now the next game will be all AI garbage.

The dev made a good gay game with amazing and deep characterizations for 9 gay characters with a variety of themes that would be relevant to the situation in the world Ergi set in. That is a fact.

We don't know about sexuality or why the dev decided to make hetero sexual orientation (for creative or monetary reason), and quite frankly, I don't think that really matters since the precedent that is set, which is Ergi, showed that the dev, or at least the narrative team if they were separate, know how to make a queer story. That is very apparent as you play through Ergi itself.

I genuinely don't think story would be a problem with the next game because even as the game ended at a horrible state, the thing that made it horrible was the AI slop and the bugs, not the story. The story was great, heck even the game mechanic also improved a lot, especially with the UI and it wasn't as much a hassle as before (it's still a hassle mind you).

maybe I will try to do it sometimes in the far future lol, I was actually redoing Jorgen Alf route before the prologue and final chapter came out, maybe I still have that save intact. Still in chapter 4 tho.

For the past 3 or 4 releases I have been unable to leave the initial town because the game always crashes after the car chase and restarts before the "cook dinner" quest.
This happens whether I use the x86 or x64 exe file.

EDIT: I just investigated a little and found that the whole Ch1 directory under "game" is missing, creating a cascade of errors...

I found the ch1-8 download on the bottom of the first page, but this is an absurd packaging, and it should be explained in the "installation" process instead of a generic "unpack and play" statement

I asked a couple of questions, you are the one jumped in to defend the dev white knight style, dismiss any criticism. No matter what you claim, Ergi literally turns into shit at the end, that's why so many voice their disappointment.
Are you NOT speculating? How do you know their new game WILL be good? In fact, what did I "speculating"? My previous post are all questions. I just said that as polite way to "Agree to disagree", but I guess fanboys can't take no as answer.

Are you already forgetting The dev literally cut short Ergi with minimum efforts + AI slop, so they can start making the more money making Hetero + Lesbian + Gay + whatever new game? Is that not a FACT?
Also you saying like using AI SLOP is not a big deal. BUT it's in fact a huge red flag.
