I had something similar happening only a few years ago, just not extreme. It was a Cuckold scene in a game i was not expecting it at all. This scene made me nearly puke. The game was "

" developed by one of my favorite VN devs Nitro+. After that happened, i looked into vns way more and compared content tags on vndb with those on hitomi. Something that seems to have shit in it not many would want to see as well is "

Nothing against gay porn, but i hate to have this stuff sprung up on me by surprise, if i never expected it, or it was never a theme in the work to begin with and some VN devs seem to make that their mission.The same goes for NTR shit in western vns as well. If you have to have that crap in there, make it optional, avoidable and put it very obvious in your damn tags, my dudes!
I wouldn't be too quick in thinking this one is a light-hearted vn, though, it just seems to be "hardcore" and not on "extreme", according to the tags

While having an option to avoid certain tags can be helpful, it can hinder the story that the writer is trying to tell.
If it is Netorase (MC wants the partner to cheat) / Netori (MC is the one cheating), and the player isn't into these tags, it may create a disconnect between the MC and the player. In this scenario making it optional as you mentioned is likely better.
However, if it is Netorare (MC gets cheated on), it can be used as a way to convey the helplessness and the anguish of the MC in the situation to great effect. The MC hates it, so does the player; and this emotional connection is what makes the VN memorable, for better or worse.
If every VN allows for the player to enjoy the bed of roses without the thorns, a lot of VNs wouldn't be as memorable as they are today.
I tried changing the text speed in the Config, but it just appears instantly no matter what I set it to.
That menu is actually really impressive, though. I like having all these options.

This is so interesting, when you click ESC on your keyboard you get this screen. Did they just copy paste the engine of Euphoria and forget to cut out the assets or is this some easter egg?

lol what no, its the panic button screen saver when someone comes into your room feature. it says in the settings. all the screensavers are previous games they made as advertisements

The boss of the company, Kuroku Midori, has a pregnancy route. Also the sound technician Musha Hasumi seems to get pregnant at some time, but I don't believe there is pregnant sex with her (I did not played her route yet).
There is a walkthrough in Japanese that can guide you to that route. I will give the link below. If you can't read Japanese (like most of us, me included), you can use that link in Google Translate, or use the source code of the page and something like DeepL Translate for a more accurate translation. Sadly copy&paste from the webpage itself seems to be problematic, because you can't select for some reason. By the way - The routes are so simple that you should not need a walkthrough, but here it is.
