In entirely different branches.
Which is absurdly easy to re-route into eachother.
You do realize that these branches are literally just flags? And that you can add any scene and
flag them however you want, correct?
The dev could take an extra 30 minutes to add a single render, with some text saying "no thanks, I don't really want this" and flag it back to the non-sexual route. It REALLY is that fucking easy, and it's asinine to argue against this existing.

Those are set in stone, you aren't going to get the choice to jump branches, you were already warned about this.
No, we aren't given a choice to jump
routes, not branches. You're clearly misunderstanding something here.
A branch is literally just a flag that can say something like "romantic interest 0/1" and whether that is flagged to either 0 or 1 will direct to the proper dialogue and scenes for either romantic or non-romantic. Again, it
really isn't difficult to do something like this as most people who are making their very first game utilize this exact concept.
Hell, the best example I can give of how easy that can be is the dinner when Jess gets drugged, you can choose to either get a faceful of splooge or dodge it, and that only changes dialogue. This is literally how a branch works, and how easy it is to implement a branch option when both parts are already finalized and exist.
