I can't say for this particular instance, but if many people are misunderstanding your posts/words, maybe it isn't their reading comprehension, but your ability to communicate? I'm sure it is all clear in your head, but if people are coming to different conclusions about what you wrote, it may not be their fault. The fact that you brought up Kate further weakens your argument honestly, as it is another example of sex scene without bringing massive emotional disruptions to the story. Sex with Lexi on the Siren route also didn't show any major consequences so far. These are already examples that it is possible for Ashe to loose her virginity to other players aside from Zoey (if given the choice) without it ruining the writing.
I was shocked at the poll because back when that scene was released, I remember reading a lot of comments about people complaining and pissed off about that scene...That was the reason why I was surprised to see that scene voted at #4...I never told you or anyone that everyone should have the same opinion as me
Those are examples of Ashe being able to have no-strings-attached sex after she lost her virginity with Zoey, in a no-strings-attached sex kinda way.
And they are all directed towards the same person who is clearly stonewalling their argument, which you are probably defending because they are on the same "team" as you.
Check how many upvotes I've given them, see how that team theory works out. No, that particular individual and I are usually on opposite sides of things (Rape cop), so...yeah.
And I am saying that, given how little emotional impact it had on her when she lost her virginity to Zoey, which you agreed that it is also a fling, the scene could have been easily replaced with these examples without really changing anything, and in this case the player actually has a choice.
I am not sure if you could swap Zoey that easily.
Okay, I should clarify and amend my statement that it had to be Zoey or someone equally emotionally detached so Ashe could have a fling, like the drug dealer (Sky?), or maybe Lexi. I don't think Kate would qualify. But if there were three options of flings the player could choose for Ashe to lose her virginity, lets say Zoey, Sky(?), and Lexi, you'd need three different scenarios for that to happen, especially at the point (right before the blackmail) it was needed for the overall plot. Which is way more work than sticking to Zoey, in that house, at that time, minutes or hours before the first blackmail message.
I hope I didn't say I thought Zoey could be swapped easily! That'd be embarrassing.

Well, calling anyone 'ugly' is rude, so that may be part of it. 'I don't find her attractive,' or the ever popular 'not my type' are options you could have chosen, but didn't. That was a choice.
