Not trying to convince you otherwise, but it seems like a hell of a lot of work for a developer to think up Ashe's romantic first time for each love interest, considering that some of the girls don't seem romantic at all.

Also, Ashe is very insecure and this step will, in theory, help her gain confidence.
I'm afraid we won't agree on this, like, I see your point to a certain degree and me disagreeing doesn't invalidate your opinion, but the mere fact it won't be her first time takes away from the romance with the more romantic characters(which of course others won't agree on and that's obviously no less valid), there wouldn't even need to be lengthy variations to stuff, it just being the first time would be enough. If it doesn't matter to the NPC in question they of course wouldn't care about it, but those who care should react in some capacity either way so by having someone else be the first it doesn't really mean less work for an author, it just makes it different & takes away from possible romance routes with someone like Delilah, who should by all accounts care.

Also the lack of agency could just as well have the opposite effect and make Ashe even less confident and willing to open up to anyone.

Edit: Also I should point out that, in my opinion, not being able to say "no" in that scene kinda gives it a weird vibe, no matter if the game really treats it as a forced sex scene, so...yeah, kinda unpleasant or at least rather restrictive in regards to basic player agency.

I haven't played it yet but I have to say I can see where you are coming from and agree in general. What can you do though, people love drama even if it is contrived. My assumption as to why so many people love it is that some of what is thrown in mirrors a real life experiences that they or a friend have had and it resonates with them because of that.

Even if that isnt the case though, judging by the comments this game has a lot more thought put into it compared to most futa games, so that alone is bound to grab people who are interested.

Personally I would like to play a game to get away from real life, not to re live it. I'll still give it a shot though. Maybe I will like it anyway despite everything. Who knows.
The game is really good all things considered & despite my personal level of unhappiness with the end of the current update I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a shot. I'm absolutely not a fan of drama, for the most part, and 100% share your sentiment about wanting to enjoy something less gloom than real life, so I think you'll have a great time. It touches some heavy subjects and the protagonist's situation is not exactly dandy at the start. So far it looks like things might get better for her, though, and at least some of the potential loveinterests (depends on if the author actually makes them individual routes and gives us players more control over what happens in the future) would definitely be able to make her life take a turn for the better.

Came to ask for consensual scenes with Officer Shaw and found out there's a forced scene with some Zoey character. Ugh.
Just to be clear, in case I expressed myself poorly, the scene in question is forced as in "no choice for the player", it's not exactly a rape scene, though as far as I can tell Ashe might be pushed towards it, depending on prior player decisions, so I struggle a bit to call it entirely consensual in that situation.

Yeah, I skipped my way through to take a look, and saw there was no player choice but admittedly didn't read enough text for actual context. Seems an odd choice since when you walk in on Kate you get the "Stay" and "Leave" choices but then also an option to run away even if you do stay, but no choices for the character losing their virginity. Though I suppose that's the point. Ashe is the character, not our character.

It's still supposedly a game centered around making decisions and I personally think this is exactly the type of stuff that should be left to players' choice cause it takes away more from the later content than it adds to the early parts.

I'm not a fan of forced scenes either, but I'm thinking it was a special case here. Losing her virginity was a big deal to Ashe (and when you are desperate to lose it then the last thing you consider is waiting for a special someone), so I wouldn't be surprised if it's gonna be referenced a lot. If it was up to player choice there'd have to be like 128+ permutations accounted for the rest of the game based on where, when, how, and with whom the deed was done.
Much easier to have a single canon answer to the V question. The same way it's canon that she and Rachel almost drunk fucked, it's just part of the story. Not like it's uncommon to have a canon character be the MC's V card puncher. In badik it's Zoey, in Intertwined it's Iris, in Artemis it's Cass, etc. The only difference is in this game it didn't happen before story started.

So far the game always gave options to nope out of sexual scenes (aside from constantly nutting all over Ashe's room :KEK:). We'll see if this last one was out of necessity (infinitly branching is just not feasible, let's be real), or it's important to the story. Or if it was just an oversight then I'm sure Morrigan will consider the feedback.

here'd have to be like 128+
...yea unlikely. unless you expect every character to bring that up as a talking point every time you meet them, exaggeration though it may it. it wouldnt even be close to that much.

Love it when people "Ackchyually" the least relevant part of my post. Halve it and the point still stands. Regardless, Ashe is a virging at the start and if you can say no to every single sexual encounter then one of them eventually has to be the first. You think there won't be 128 scenes in the completed game? And it's a big deal to Ashe so yeah, bet on it being referenced a lot.

Just to give some insight here...

I've said a few times that I'll make as many characters/paths optional as the story allows. But that also means that sometimes, things happen without player input. And when they do, they do for a reason.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Additionally I want to keep the story cohesive and the different paths interconnected. So I don't want 20 different, optional paths that exist completely separate from each other. To achieve that, there needs to be some fixed through-line, otherwise the amount of variations gets too crazy.

That being said, player agency will play a bigger role going forward. You can expect more variations and avoidable things as the story progresses. Still, there'll be some things where you might not get a choice on.
I do try to make the unavoidable sexual stuff "easily digestible", but of course there'll still be players who won't like one scene or another. The more controversial characters and scenes will always be optional though. E.g. you won't end up in bed with Natasha if you don't want to, and you won't see any cuckquean stuff if you're not into that.

(Also: calling the Zoey scene "not entirely consensual" is ridiculous.)

Your statement got "Ackchyually"-d because it deserved to be. An extra virgin=false, first partner =" name". isnt a whole lot of effort to do even if there are that many scenes. Again, unless this is going to be a recurring topic that is constantly brought up with accompanying dialogue that makes reference to those values then it is not a big deal. Do you really expect she and others will be talking about it for the rest of the game? In detail? That would be pretty bizzare if so.

Also just to point out, it is indeed not the least relevant part of your comment because you used that as the main supporting point of your argument....You wrote it, how do you not realize that?

In any case the reason why it happened is probably just because thats how the author needed it to happen for the rest of the story.. No other wild technical arguments are needed.

you sound like a typical demonrat liberal retard that doesn't know how to think critically and only makes wrongful assumptions. I only download games with quality animations like TFMG & Being a Dik. thats why I ask.
:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Yeah rite. It shows your IQ in the answer. This game has no animations. But the renders are close to the all hyped BAD. Look for yourself. And stay at your so called quality animations. Next time that you approach me with that disgusting language I will report you, bebe.

Bruh, the 128 was a throwaway, made up number irrelevant to the overall point. And I painted 3 distinct hypotheticals on the subject then you hyperfixated on the single one that you can nitpick. I'd argue further, but since the dev already confirmed I'm right there's no point.

But if I do want Ashe to end up in bed with Natasha, will Ashe want to end up in bed with Natasha? Or is Natasha just supposed to be the stereotypical Super Dom side character?

Hi!

I just tried this game and it was awesome
I really like the story so far

Just a question tho : if the main character has both sex.. and ultra horny all the time, she MUST have been very curious.. So maybe she would have tried to fuck herself, right?.. I mean.. for science? Maybe that's why she lasted so long with Zoey despite it being 'technically' her first time with somebody else than herself? :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for the clarification and insight, I look forward to how player agency materializes in the future. This remains one of the most interesting and compelling futa games available for me.

Hopefully my criticism didn't come off as too harsh, I certainly saw the need to push the plot forward. I just thought that there could have been multiple options on how that key scene could have played out.

I personally didn't even finish this update because it became pretty clear what all this game has to offer so I don't even have proper context for how non consensual the scene one.

You want to be deep and realistic? Why doesn't this turn ashe away from sex? Not much different from if she was held down and forced by the token rapecop she has the same amount of choice in either situation right? (If non consensual)
Not sure where you got this impression. The player had no choice in the scene, Ashe did. She wasn't raped. Zoey straight up gave her a way out when she found out Ashe is a virgin.

There won't be any scenes that are fully non-consensual. There might be some scenes where Ashe's brain tells her to leave but her libido tells her to stay (like the scene with Natasha in the gym or Ashe getting a bit too handsy at night with Evelyn) but nothing much crazier than that.

I want to know more about how Ashe feels about Delilah, because she seems to have already decided about that (Can't mess with my best friend's sister, *even though best friend messed with mine...*) But then it seems she has a weakness for her too.

I also want to know more about how Ashe feels about Fiona, particularly the part about Fiona and Rachel. There must be some unresolved feelings there. We get some hints of that, and it appears to be unresolved on Ashe's part.

The reason I want clarity on that is because it comes up in the choice of whether to help Fiona or not. Am I still really upset with her, and we haven't resolved it yet? Would I dare to do it right in front of Delilah, who might wake up at any time, if I have some burgeoning feelings for Delilah? I mean, I can headcannon that any way I would like, but Ashe isn't really *me* or my interpretation of her, she is a fully fledged character with her own goals and motivations, and if I don't understand them, I can't help her make those choices. I assume that these two issues I pointed toward are going to come up again, so I will have wanted to account for them when I help Ashe make that one choice.

(I mean, if it's up to me, Ashe is looking for Lexi! But I can see an Ashe who is in love with Fiona and has completely forgiven her, or who is deciding that Delilah is her jam, too.)

Impressively well written game for how silly the premise is, great job. It is easily one of the best futa games so far so i hope you continue for a long time.

I think it's a good choice not to have too many paths and variations. Player choice is great but increases dev time dramatically so it should be used with caution. Being a DIK is a good example - great game but with so many characters and paths it takes ages for an update to come out. It would be nice to see a game that has a faster update cycle even if it means less player freedom. As long as the story and characters are interesting, it's all good.

As for the "forced" (on the player) losing of virginity, i get both sides. I understand how people are disappointed they dont get to lose it with the character they like. It did take me by surprise, it's a bold choice.
But i also get how you want it have some significance in the story and realistically, if you wanna get into the MC having sex scenes that are not just dreams - which is important in a porn game - she cant stay a virgin for too long, and having sex with an important character that soon would seem too cheap, too fast.
