We simply don't have enough information to make a fully formed conclusion on the identity of the blackmailer. Every sign that currently points to Delilah can be taken as evidence of her guilt or can be rationalized as coincidence, we just don't know. I've already explained from a writing perspective this seems like a red herring because it doesn't make sense to introduce a mystery and immediately give the solution. One other thing I was thinking about Delilah seems like she is one of the main love interests and I'm sure there are a lot of people interested in pursuing her. So it seems like a waste to essentially throw away this character by giving her such an irredeemable quality.

I'll just rank the ones I like
For me
Vanessa and Rachael are S tier
Vanessa is Bella 2.0 to me and I really like Rachael's story so far.

Fiona and Lexy are A tier for me.

I'm not really into Fiona as a LI but will play that path anyways I think she is S tier as a character but since im not into her romantically it bring her down a bit. Lexy just seems to kind and a sweetheart it's true we need more character development with her but ive seen enough to know where i'd rank her.

Delilah and Zoey are B tier
Delilah is cute but need to see more this was my thoughts even before the recent update. Zoey is hot but to quick to have sex with for me so until she gets some real character development she is B tier.

Kate and Evelyn are C tier
I have no interest in these characters at all as a LI or to just have sex with them and ontop of that I don't fin them attractive personally. Might play Evelyn once just to see it way later. But I do like this characters as non LI characters better.

Everyone else is D or F tier

Honestly, Fiona is the only one in S for me, assuming that she didn't tell Delilah about Ashe's secret.
Kate and Evelyn are like.. maybe C tier? Depends on how the story shapes out.
Vanessa is D tier. (Absolute bitch moves on her part sunk her through the floor for me.)
The rest is F tier.
Bella is "take behind the shed and shoot her with a shotgun" tier.

Funny enough even tho I personally consider Vanessa S tier for me personally and we disagree about how similar she is to another character. I was almost in the same boat as you after the dinner scene yet my interpretation of her afterwards made me giver her another chance since that was the only thing she has done I did dislike. My personal interpretation made me think she felt remorse and bad for using Ashe after Ashe yelled at her. Which is the only reason I didn't drop how id rank her yet.

That's fair, personally I truly dislike people who thrust other people into situations without any regard for them, so even if Vanessa is remorseful, it was enough for me to dislike her thoroughly. That pretty much applies to most other characters in the game aswell as Ashe has been consistantly taking L's due to other people for a while now, which is a tad annoying.

With that out of the way I just want to say the fantasy dream sequence with the elf and orc futa is one of the hottest thing I have seen in any porn game I especially love all the variations in that scene. Has the dev mentioned anything about expanding on it, like actually joining the pen and paper group, leading to more scenes in that style?
Honestly if there was an entire game in that style, It would probably be the best game of all time.

I like the idea combines quite well with each route, but the chastity cages seem too much to me, I think it is one of the least erotic things that exist in BDSM, it's just not fun it's sad.

Well, it doesn't always require exceptional writing, though I'm sure that helps. I think the main requirement is that the players find either the story or the characters engaging. If they find both the story and the characters engaging, so much the better.

An example would be Superhuman, by WeirdWorld. It's a matter of opinion, of course, but I don't consider the writing in that game to be exceptionally good. I do think it's decent - even better than average, particularly for adult games - but not exceptionally well written. And that thread is more than 920 pages long, and I doubt that anyone has talked about the porn in the game for the last 200 pages. All they talk about is the characters, the story, and theories about what's going to happen.

My guess is that this is contributing to the relationship between Ashe and Fiona, since it occurred when Ashe was sleeping besides Fiona. So I would expect (hope) that the various acts will be available between them later....

Hmm...I suppose a good story isnt always a well written one, but this one is really nice. It got me to worry for the protag and I cant wait to see the resolution of the blackmail plotline. I was very skeptical about this game since reading about it a bit seemed like it had a lot relationship-drama, but luckily the dev showed restraint in that area and there were even some nice humorous moments and perhaps most importantly the sex scenes were actually great (and once again special mention to the elf/orc dream sequence).

All I have say is I cant wait for the Vanessa date. Also here is something I think I would like to see depending how long the blackmail goes on for. If we could get to the point we trust Vanessa with our secret before the blackmail is over and done with maybe we could get her to use her mother's resources to help us. I personally think that would be something nice to see her do something good with her actions instead of just feeling remorseful towards how she treated Ashe.

I agree that this story is quite nice. I also think it's quite well written.

I wasn't offering a criticism of MorriganRae's writing. I was just making the point that a story/movie/game doesn't have to be well written for the characters or the plot or the settings to be engaging to the reader/viewer/player, and that, if any or all of those things are engaging enough, people will talk about them, perhaps even more than they talk about the porn.

Anyway, you seem to have understood my main point. I just want to clarify that, while good writing isn't required for engagement, I do think the writing in Eruption Imminent is good.
