Any thoughts on the black news lady that lives in Natasha's apartment complex?
I could be very wrong, but I think she's a red herring. I think that's why she was wearing a blue coat, like the one mentioned by Evelyn from the lady who dropped off the package. I'm not 100%, and will check again soon when I get there, but I don't think she asked about skin tone, even though that became a major point of finding the photo if you don't take one of yourself.
On a side note, I loved CasaNovacks's comment above. I try not to get emotionally invested in my theories, so I can change them 100 times before finding out the truth, but I LOVE a good mystery.
As to the thing with Jane, I think it's going to come out eventually that they were arguing in the car, as teenagers often do with their mothers, when they got hit from the side by the big truck thing. I think that Ashe was able to make it out, but Jane wasn't, and Ashe couldn't help her because of the fire (She woke up one time smelling burning plastic). I think that might also explain the music (if it was playing), and the one nightmare where Jane screams, because she would have screamed if she was on fire. I would think Ashe would blame herself for not being able to get to her.
Although, if it had said that Ashe smelled burning rubber instead, I would have thought they were walking and Jane turned in an intersection to say something and got hit. There is the one nightmare where she's standing, looking to the side at the truck, so there's no telling what happened yet for certain. It is a lot of fun coming up with theories though.
