I think all of the other theories about the ending are plausible, but I don't buy that Vanessa wasn't talking specifically to Ashe. If Vanessa wanted everyone to leave, not just Ashe, she had plenty of opportunity to make that clear in the time it took for Ashe to walk out. She specifically addresses Ashe beforehand too.

What's interesting is that Vanessa's dead mother isn't shown. Could be because she hasn't been named yet. My own theory is that is because she was a Duplo and Morrigan doesn't want to reveal that fact yet, perhaps. The second part of my theory is that she was on the libido suppressant drugs, messing her up, causing cancer, something like that. Vanessa's outburst may be related to the fact that she can't handle her emotions, isn't able to express herself as the secret is still being maintained after her mother's death (meaning she can't grieve properly), and doesn't want to go through it again with another Duplo.

Imo there is one other thing interesting about the character chart. The current version in OP is for ep 5, yet Oriana is on it but without an image. In the game however, her name wasn't even mentioned until this episode. I wonder why Morrigan did that

Perhaps everyone was just shocked by the situation? And of course she addressed Ashe beforehand, she wanted confirmation before throwing people out.

i think most of the chat is overthinking it. vanessa likely just feels lied to and got upset. she was starting to get closer to you and you were hiding that secret.
anyways hopefully we dont have to wait another year to find out. shame this update felt more like flexing the branching paths instead of moving the story forward, and honestly this long without an update just to leave us on a cliffhanger puts a bad taste in my mouth, would be different on a 3-4 month cycle. it was enjoyable but i guess i overhyped it in my head. was very short for the money dev made since the last update

Ah my bad. I thought everything in the script that was Day 17 was part of 0.6.0. Apparently 0.5 ended on day 17 as well.

I actually like the siren path. A lot of suggestions I have seen from this forum makes Ashe seem like Chloe. She's building confidence and working to be more expressive and dominant. I think this is a great update and definitely have a lot of fun depth (especially the never have I ever game). I'm going through the kitten path now.

That's just Kitten route fans being more vocal. i'm a fan of the Siren route, I just don't see the point in posting much, since mainly it's about the blackmailer, which I have no interest in speculating about

To be honest. I think Morrigan is laughing her pants off reading everything here about the blackmail. And I think the more we talk about it the longer this will last. In Ch 6 it took a part of the story.
