Alright I whipped up a mod to remove the "route-split" mechanic, meaning you never make the choice between Siren, Kitten and Cuckquean.

IMPORTANT TL;DR

• The installation procedure is the same as the incest patch, just follow the readme and move the files into your /game/ folder
• This is an intrusive mod that alters the events of base game, so BACKUP your game's files somewhere else if you don't want to risk losing the original ones, some may end up getting overwritten
• To fully play this mod, you need to start from a save BEFORE the route selection SCREEN. If you start from any point ahead of that point, then the mod may not work correctly
• Saves made in this mod are likely to be incompatible with future official updates of the game (they will probably still work, but may not recall your decisions correctly), so keep official saves separated from your mod saves
• Detailed breakdown of changes and thoughts below, but the general gist is that some scenes that were exclusive to one route or another have been made accessible to the other routes, BUT they may still be locked by conditions, it depends on your playthrough and what your "domme score" and "cuck score" variables are looking like

Put this mod together because I really dislike the route-split mechanic for this game. I hope that anyone that tries this mod ends up enjoying their playthrough with it more than without it, and that maybe it convinces the dev to go back on their choice and decide to officially remove the route-split and design further updates without it.

My opinion is that if the intent is to actually move the routes into wildly different directions to the point where they start feeling like 3 different stories, then the route split is justified and I will call it quits on the mod once that becomes evident, as it would become a futile fight to change the game into what it isn't.

But if the developer's M.O continues as it has been over the last 2 updates, we won't really have 3 different stories as much as 3 alternatives of the same story. Story beats will remain the same, your choice of route won't really alter the main story or how any of the important events play out, and ultimately both the game and the dev's work process will still be the same as it was before the route-split. Except now the story will have lost a significant layer of dynamism and player engagement, and it is a pain in the ass to get the content you are interested in because now it takes 3 full playthroughs instead of getting to choose as you go.

Point is, I'd rather the game follows a development model and gameplay experience that is better adjusted to the type of story it is actually telling, not a misadjusted attempt of living up to a promise of something it never was. And, in my opinion, this game's strong suit has always been a finely crafted central narrative that goes through the same story beats, using the same cast of characters, but allows for some flexibility with subtle variations left to player's choice.

So if you could give specific examples of what is that you think the dev has done right with the route-split so far, I would like to hear them so I can see if I can figure out a solution that keeps those specific elements you enjoyed even without doing the route-split.

It's been a while . I've been back from my break for a little bit now, and with the public release of Ep. 5 done, I can now fully focus on working on Ep. 6.

You guys have given a ton of feedback and reviews for the latest update, and I'm happy to read it all. And if you haven't yet and would like to, hop over on Discord or tell me here in a DM. I feel like I don't thank you people enough, but it really is immensely motivating when I see so many people interested in my little lewd story. Thank you so much ❤! And with that, I'd also like to welcome the many, many (so many) new supporters here ! Seeing the numbers go up like that makes me a little dizzy every time.

So, what's been going on the last couple weeks? As announced, I took a short break to recharge a bit. I think this was a good idea as it made me so giddy to work on the next episode. I'll talk a bit more about the plans for Episode 6 in next week's progress report. Since there'll be some mild spoilers from Ep. 5, I want people to have a chance to finish it before that. So, if you haven't played through Ep. 5 yet and you don't want any spoilers whatsoever, you might want to stay away a bit from here until you finished it.

So far I'll just say that I've finished planning the next episode and started writing it too. Progress so far has been decent, but I'm not close to being done with that part yet. You'll have to wait a bit before you'll get some previews.

And to people new here, here's a quick rundown on what you can expect here during the development process:

• Weekly progress reports (every Friday): This should give you an idea where we stand and how much is done, what's left to do, and (eventually) an estimate for the next release date.
• Weekly preview pics: As soon as I start doing renders, you'll get a preview picture every Monday. (For paid supporters only)
• Polls. I'll eventually do some polls to gather everyone's thoughts. There'll be some polls (limited to higher tiers) that will let you directly decide on some small thing that will make it in the game too.
• Bonus pics. Silver and Gold tier will continue to get bonus pin-up pictures of the cast, and some member requested special renders. If you're a Gold member and want to request something, make sure to check out the Discord.

Also: To all the people who are waiting for a Steam release, you'll have to wait a bit longer unfortunately. I need to spend some more time to properly get all this set up, and I decided I'll put that off until I have some more free time. I'll likely prepare everything over the holidays at the end of the year. Which means a Steam release will be ready in Summer 2025 at the earliest.

I get what you mean with your question about what the 3 branches add and could not be done with the "old" model.

Well I would say first thing for me is that it "feels" different. Having to commit to a path that (hopefully) will develop in a unique way creates another form of involvement as just being able to hit "back" a couple of times and then check the next sex scene. I personally would never call it "immersive" for me, because I am neither a 20 (or however old Ashe is) futa in a world full of hot girls nor would I identify with a sub or NTR character. I am nut sure if I can fully describe what I mean but it is a feeling of "I will make a sub on this route and that is how she will be". This would not be the case if one could freely jump between choices. And my guess would be it is what you don´t like about the branching

Second would be I guess that I also enjoy Project Myriam a lot. Here you have litterally a ton of decisions that follow each other very closely. It is cool in itś own right as you at least get the feeling of freedom to choose what you want. But it also can take away a little from the story. The Dinner with Vanessa scene for example runs more or less on it's own and you can follow how the bonding and sparkle somehow starts with them. In Project Myriam my guess would be that you might have had 4 or 5 choices within this scene. So the flow of the scene is very different (at least for me). Again I also like this but it somehow does not really fit for the way the story is told in this VN.

And lastly I think my hope is that in the long run the branches will really develop in different ways that might get longer unique story arcs. But this might be wishful thinking.

Those are the things at the top of my head why I would say I prefer the branching system. There might be more but I forgot about them

No the game shows that she is. As the player you can choose to act upon/indulge in them or not however. It could also be she is just like that because she is repressed from years of having to hide her sex and her family being super close to her. Of course I think prejudice is the biggest factor of discrimination but the heightened libido can still be true.

There's a valid discussion to be had about how much Ashe's problems are caused by her traumas and the discrimination she suffers, rather than a direct biological consequence of her being a duplo. But I would not say that her problematic relationship with her sexuality and constant need to suppress it indicates that her libido is any lower than Fiona's, and neither would I say that Fiona's libido is necessarily high just because she's more open about it and comfortable with it.

That's why this game is so great with its narration. It nicely plays with ambiguity of its setting and lets us decide, what we want to believe about the world presented there.

I think I understand what you mean. You like stronger indications that Ashe's character is changing, that she is progressing towards something specific. The route-split scene is very overtly and makes more of a spectacle out of the idea that you made a big choice that changed the entire story.

I don't think that promise is properly reflected in the game yet. People are excited by the prospect of Ashe having a big character transformation, but some people are getting disappointed by that expectation. Main example I have seen is about Siren Ashe still having too much anxiety or being too obedient to the blackmailer. I think it is a bit silly to expect Ashe to go full "I don't give a fuck" or removing the blackmail plot since those have been integral parts of the main story for quite a while now, but I also don't blame people for being disappointed with that since the route-split promised a "badass Ashe" on the siren route, and it is disappointing to have her be a "badass" ONLY when it isn't disruptive to the main story the dev wants to tell.

Maybe we need to see what will happen in the party since it is the next big event the game is building towards, but if it ends up being something like "Ashe's attitude does not change the outcome of the main events, only changes who she ends up having sex with (siren ashe gets a dom scene, kitten ashe gets a sub scene, cuckquean ashe gets a ntr scene) while everything else happens the same way" then I suspect people will have their expectations disappointed by the route-split.

I haven't played Project Myriam but I think I understand you here too. Getting the story constantly broken up by too many choice menus can make it feel disjointed.

But I am happy to say that, at least for your example of the Vanessa date, my mod to remove the route-split did not add a single extra menu break to that entire scene. I only made some extra choices potentially be available to the menus that are already there (blowjob request for "non-siren" routes and grope/nipple-tease for kitten/siren). Those choices show up during unavoidable menus that are already there in the official game. The favor menu involves other choices like money or future favor and the make-out menu is already there because you also always had the option of backing out from kissing Vanessa, so adding extra options to those menus is not really disrupting the story.

And lastly I think my hope is that in the long run the branches will really develop in different ways that might get longer unique story arcs. But this might be wishful thinking.

I appreciate you taking the time to list those things. If the dev is sticking with the route-split, I also do hope to see them being made more unique. But I also do have some other problems with the route-split mechanic, like the way the Cuckquean route is bundling together some more light-hearted voyeur scenes with harder NTR scenes (I don't like being forced to have the latter happen in my playthrough just to enjoy the first).

You did give me something to think about with Ashe's character progression though. This is just a game-design mod, so I won't really introduce any new graphical elements or elaborate original scenes, but I might try to tinker with the presentation so that the player can feel "recognized" when they are doing playthroughs that are STRONGLY invested into either being only dom, or only sub, or only cuck. I probably won't be able to make it as eye-catching as the route-split scene, but I don't really want to mislead and entice the player with promises of things that aren't in the game yet anyway.

Chapter 1 is 3 days, Chapter 2 is 2, Chapter 3 is 5, Chapter 4 is 4, and Chapter 5 is 3. Chapters 1-2 are 5 days plus 5 from Chapter 3 brings us to 10, plus 4 is 14 then 14+3 is 17

The FMC is such an unlikable character, the constant self doubt, non stop lack of self esteem , constant inner monologues, zero sense of control and then you throw in the blackmail story and she just becomes unbearable....The soap opera writing is frustrating as fuck , especially with Fiona's sister. It's a real shame too because I normally avoid these types of games but I was drawn to the screenshots and idea behind the story , hell I even downloaded this despite their being 0 animations ,,,but damn the way she is written just kills the experience. The absolute worst part is every other female is written really well and you are drawn to their stories and want to learn more about them....a shame really
