Honestly I didn't even notice how many posts he made nor did I care to check bc I only wanted to answer the com I saw in front of my eyes. But I see where you are coming from. Ofc when you are on this you are most of time looking for free games. But I think that a lot of subs come from this site as well. Not even worth mentionning how it helps boom your viewship and audience.
Honestly I think ppl are free to say whatever they want in a com section as long as it's not insulting smn, spammin and whatsoever. If he wants to nag every now and then. I don't see where the prblm is as long as he is not being rude abt it or spamming everyday the same bs.
I won't do that myself, maybe from time to time send a com asking if anyone knows when the update's coming. You prbbly don't see the sense in doing what he does too. And it's fine, but as long as he is not spamming or being rude abt it, I think we shoud just let him do what he wants. If he is frustrated let him dump his frustrations there. So what if he is a freeloader like you said, that'd mean he can't even send a message abt it to the dev on patreon I doubt he would give him any attention on that particular matter unless he is a patron of his.
Just bc you don't feel frustrated about an update being delayed or just simply don't want to voice it out it doesn't mean ppl feel the same.
In the end I understand both of your povs. I'd just advise you to ignore him and accept that ppl think differently from you.

I'm completely out of the loop here and doing some skimming and searches isn't really getting me up to date on things so ah... what exactly is the hold up with this update? Seems like the dev decided to do something different and it backfired? Lots of life shit causing delays? Milking? Written themselves into a corner? If there's been a proper summary post made somewhere, a link to it would be very much appreciated... otherwise, anyone willing to give me the bullet points?

Dev tried to Challenge themselves, realised update went pretty huge, asked Patreons if he should split. They said no, give us the whole thing even if it takes longer.
So we expect it to drop Sep or October.

There's just one really big party scene that's bigger than previous updates, and it would be hard to cut that scene into pieces.

This update was always gonna be a pain in the ass. Making the idea that the party is an aphrodisiac fueled fuckfest work with the non NTR paths is going to be difficult and I'd imagine would also seriously reduce the amount of common path renders that can work with it.
That's actually a good point no one thought about. How exactly this "fuckfest" will work for Kitten and Siren paths?

Probably how things worked previously, which is just not very well.
Kitten, seemingly being the intended route, works quite well with the scenes and writing and whatnot, but Siren and the NTR route just plays like completely separate games compared to Kitten, Siren most notably feeling almost hamfisted in a lot of situations.
With Kitten, she's probably just going to get pulled into closets and molested, the general theme of her 'intended' route thus far is basically just being an almost unwilling participant to a lot of shit and people taking advantage of her.
i wholeheartedly dissagree with this. while i agree that kitten is probale the "canon" route, the siren route is by FAr the one most close to it. all it changes are the MCs manorisms to some of the chars.. like a good fan fiction.
but the cuck route activly changes the personas of almost all of the crew.. first and foremost the sister and the mother.
i have no idea how you can play the game and DONT thing that the cuck route is the one that does by far the least sence
I normally don't agree with this argument, but in this game the cuck route is the perfect example of how an NTR route can cheapen the feeling of the other routes. Like you can make the case that Ashe having a less cucky personality makes her mom see Stella as a less suitable partner, that she creates a higher standard of what she expects from a lover than some dickbrained NTR jock. Still think its dumb how it turns her sluttiness up to an 11 in one single evening though. Explain Zoey or Lexi though. They haven't been around Ashe long enough for her to have made those pathetic cucky impressions on them. Too much narrative dissonance between the paths. Kitten feels canon, it's who Ashe naturally is. Siren feels like Ashe discovering who she wants to be. Cuck just changes everyone's personality into a massively shittier version of themselves.

The reason why Siren feels so much more hamfisted is due to how unbelievably meek and submissive she's naturally on the Kitten route.
The Cuck route goes almost hand in hand with the submissive route in how Ashe is portrayed, i.e someone who's constantly getting shit thrown at her, someone who never really takes any sort of initiative and someone who's just a nervous wreck that's awkward in any social situation.
Siren has, in a lot of cases, been the complete opposite of that.
You note how most of the crew almost 'change personas' in the cuck route? Yeah, the Siren route is exactly that but for Ashe instead, and since our experience will only ever be through the eyes of Ashe, it's a far more jarring juxtaposition to see how she acts in the Siren route compared to the cuck route.
so a simple example why the cuck route does not make sence:
to this date the most "alpha" moment we see from the Mc is actually in the kitten route whe she kicks the cop in the fucking balls... something that is unimaginable from the cuck ash but totally in line with the siren ash..
going furher:
if you play kitten route you see how much the sister is concerned about ash going to the rapecop, and in every route other then the cuck route you see how the mother is concerned about her daughters when going on the businse trip.
but on the cuck route not only does the twin suddelny thing the rape cop is absolutely ok to fuck ( totally contary to how much she was afraid of what could have happened to her sister on the kitten route) but their mother suddenly completly forgets she EVEN HAS DAUGHTERS but instead tries to hidde she has an afair shortly before said business trip and instead ignores even the one daugher that just returned from a year long trip!! and instead flirts whith someone she met a day or so ago..
this is character assasination at its finast...
kitten and siren route make sence.. cuckqueen route makes about as much sence as season 4 of mirragules ladybug...
(disclamer: obciously english is my 3. language so pls leave me alone with errors)
