Nah that's basically just a dude replaced by a futa as the MC, everything else is identical to your common adult VNs with a school setting like Being a Dik... This game actually revolves around the concept of futas and has a world built on top of it. You may say HAHT is a better written VN, but it hardly qualifies as an actual futa game.

Wait what? so siren route is basically a scam. What a disappointment and here I was hoping to turn the table on some characters. From the pool I see that still 34% which isn't anything voted siren. If he continues that way he'll prbbly lose a lot of them. And here I was like a dumb a$$ praising the dev/s for trying to satisfy all teams...

Coz Futas are imaginary. To be a futa game you need actual world-building, either to explain how they come into existence, or give a detailed description of what the different social norms are in a world where futas exist as-is. In HHT it's just a girl who grows a dick in a lab accident and that's it. You can replace her literally with a dude and it makes absolutely no difference to the plot.
Ashe has been more timid from the start so maybe it's going to be a bit of a slower build up to them being dominant
To those complaining about the Siren path: you realize Ashe is naturally a shy and timid person right? How can a person so timid and shy and lacking confidence for 20 years suddenly become a hot queen domme? What are you expecting to see? Yes she chooses the Siren path, and she will not back down every time like she used to, or she will try to take the initiative more. But that doesn't mean she all of a sudden changes her demeanor completely, unless she has a dual personality all this time. She's still lacking experience in the sex department, so why would her all of a sudden become a master in bed?

I disagree with this because of the premise of the story
Agree to Disagree for me personally it makes no different if there is world building , lore etc as long as the futa character is the main plot point / storyline of said game I see it as a Futa game. But this is coming from someone that has never really stepped foot into the whole Futa genre outside of this game and 1 other. So my personal point of view might be skewed.
If that's the case I recommend Futa Dom World. Probably one of the best if not the best in terms of futa realism and lore. But perhaps you are not totally into this genre so I respect your opinion, agree to disagree.

That seems a bit reductionist, no need to look for the 5 legs to the cat, if the character was female or male or whatever and now is a woman with both reproductive organs, it qualifies as Futanari.
I agree, I think we're being too fatalistic, it's normal to think that such a big change in his personality is something that takes time, at least we have to see 1 or 2 more updates to see how it develops.
That is a clumsy at best evasion of the point.
What I think people are taking issue with is the blackmail nonsense being some hentai b movie plot pile of nonsense and it being played along with, here is something then even a shy doormat can do, rationally explain a situation to an employer to remove themselves from the equation, them essentially just being a stuttering doormat and more awkward then commanding and no real improvement or distinction from other paths.
Ultimately yeah I do agree with the consensus that this was a letdown update for the Siren path and is rightfully being called out as way too similar to other routes, there isn't even really any building blocks to indicate major personality or dynamic shifts are incoming. At best if we buy your logic she might be a dom by the game's conclusion or epilogue and again rightfully so I think, plenty of people don't want to wait that long.
Well yeah, she definitely qualifies as a Futa, that's for sure. But my point is as a game it lacks the essential elements to completely fit in the futa genre (see my comments above). But as an adult VN it is very enjoyable so.
True, the blackmail thing does need to be resolved as soon as possible. That I agree. But if you look at some of the comments you'll find some people are complaining about how clumsy Ashe still is in sex. That is simply uncalled for given the reasons I just stated.
Ehh, I do agree with them to a lesser degree of her not even attempting to be more assertive or driven for personal pleasure but I admit it is the least of my personal gripes but even in that arena I can see where the ball was fumbled.

Based on that poll I don't think that's the primary reason. Siren route is the 2nd most popular option, with a smaller discrepancy than with the 3rd option.
I think it's more likely that the dev themselves prefer the kitten route, and are using that as the main approach to the entire game. It reads like they're trying to branch everything off of that route. Which just doesn't really work when the MCs behaviour needs to be very different to be believable.
Right now it just isn't working for the siren route. Really was hoping for more after seeing the screen choice, it was a "oh thank fuck" moment for me. After this update it's more of a "I got baited" feeling.
It would need some massive script flipping in the next episode or two for the siren route to make sense. As the trigger for MCs behaviour clearly isn't the actual route choice. Or it was and the dev just couldn't work it into the script.
I been hearing people say that in the siren route ashe is still timed i am also a siren path player and I am someone who wanting for the game to leaked or be released on schedule. I think alot people forgot that the dev has said in a past post that the changes to ashes personality on each path will not be Instantaneously it will be over the course of the story so i have all the time in the world. Plus MorriganRae actually is one of the devs who listens to feedback.

The point that the dev seemed to be making in the last episode was that the choice was a pivotal moment for Ashe, that it would be the catalyst for character change. Based on this episode it clearly wasn't. Ashe behaves completely the same no matter the route you choose. It is only some minor choices you can make and dialogue options here and there.
The problem isn't that she's shy and timid, the problem is that she doesn't attempt to change. The change shouldn't be immediate, however like with everything in life she should be trying, stumbling, falling and failing. It is with rebuilding herself from those failures that she would be changing. She doesn't try, she makes no attempts. She doesn't reflect upon her actions differently based on the path. The siren path cannot coexist with the kitten/cuckqueen paths. It needs to branch off fully.

The blackmail should be a great opportunity for the dev to differentiate the paths, they unfortunately just do not.
Same with the later scene with the best friend, good opportunity to seize control. Instead we are forced to take it up the pussy
Offering options for a division of paths looks like a mistake then. You wouldn't be complaining if there aren't paths to choose. For me Ashe looks perfectly natural character development-wise as is.

Well I understand that but from spoilers I read the siren path is basically the same asothers except for some dialogues that were changed. WHich shouldn't be possible since the siren path in its essence should be "dom" path completelyt opposite to a cuck/sub path. AT least that's how I understood it.
From the spoilers it didn't seem like they felt that Ashe was putting in effort to change. Apart from that I'm beginning to think that the time for an update that has 3 different paths might be a lot longer than what we waited for now.
I mean, to change you kinda have to dive if you don't you won't. PLus we alrdy brang her out of her shell in the recent updates. Like for exemple when she raged at her sister's friend or told blondie that she didn't like being used that way...
You can't argue the fact that us siren path players were a bit abandoned for this update.
