Great update overall. I'm rly glad the dev is open to advice and incorporated an optional recap.
On another note, The pace was good, the renders frkin hot, and man the satisfaction I get from MC becoming more confident ahhhh. And the paths finally taking a direction was satisfying, I saw a hint system was added too, that's prbbly why the mod wasn't updated. I'm just hoping it won't be too much work making scenes for 3 diff routes plus managing all the relationships...

This isn't relevant or anything but man idk why but whenever I read Duplo, the way it sounds gives me some cyberpunk typa vibe lol.

I wouldn’t be playing if this was just the kitty route (let alone cuckqueen).

It‘s the promise of the siren route that got me excited for this game. I would’ve dropped it after ep.4 otherwise. The kitten option just isn’t for me. And I’m perfectly fine with that.

The promise of the path was broken one episode later. There is no growth, Ashe still acts completely timid, she expresses herself timidly and her expressions are timid. There is no bad bitch Ashe and she isn’t in the making.

About the blackmailer

I think Delilah is a complete red herring and the ??? Character at the end likely is as well. I expect Mrs. X is actually someone much closer to Ashe.

Yeah that mirrors how I felt after last episode too. Granted there were a few moments of frustration I had prior to that. Like going back to the same spot you already got caught at by <character-I’d-rather-play>, like how stupid is the MC. Not only does she go back she drags in someone else as well. Pure retardation.

It’s situations like that which are a bit too forced. The dev wants something to happen, so Ashe has to make a stupid decision. And the player has no agency to make that mistake themselves.

This is repeated in this episode with

• Ashe gets a vibe in the mail and just sticks it in, zero player choice.
• Ashe has her BFF over, Ashe gets fucked in the pussy it’s not even a choice of getting fucked in the pussy or nothing. Straight up penetration with 0 input from the player.
• Ashe doesn’t even try anything with the random influencer just lets her be a cunt to her and her date. 0 input from the player.

Honestly doesn’t bode well for player agency regardless of path, but obviously less intrusive for a passive Ashe.

This sounds like its going the opposite direction that Having a Hard Time went, in Having a Hard Time the dev gives the player complete freedom to choose everything and when I mean everything I mean almost everything from what they say, how they behave, who they bang or what path they want to take the only thing the players has no control of are the main story plotlines that need to happen so the story can go forward.

For example:
If you want to be a full on dom that makes girls call her mommy or queen then go ahead or if you are in to full sub you can also choose to be full sub and let others decide for you, hell you can even mix and match sometimes dom other times sub

Another example is in one part of the story a bully starts making fun of the MC trying to pick on her, well the game gives you options for it too for example you can beat the shit out of her or you can just stay quiet and avoid fighting her its your choice.

You can also choose what the MC replies when someone asks her a question or something for example there is one part where the MC is at a café with a friend and the waitress comes and askes her what they want to drink, well you can choose coffee, soda, tea or even just straight up say Titty Milk just for shits and giggles, you can make the MC the cool confident girl, the shy timid girl or even sort of a class clown that jokes around too much its the players choice.

There are so many examples of the dev giving the player absolute freedom to mold the MC to their liking and while I normally do not like to compare AVN with each other it just seems like Eruption Imminent went the complete opposite direction not respecting the players freedom of letting them choose what they want or how they want MC to respond.

Also what was the whole point of the Paths I ask myself? if the only true choices are being full sub, a cuck or the Siren which is just another disguised sub route. I was so hyped for this new update because I was really interested in the idea of Siren changing Ashe seeing her more confident and dominant.

I think most of us are not asking for Ashe to go full Alpha out of nowhere or out of character and start banging every girl there is. Rather I think what most of us wanted to see is at least to see her take the first steps toward being more confident and less shy even if they are baby steps to at least make an effort.

Bear in mind that I've only played through 0.4, although I'm looking forward to the new release, but this seems like a common theme that I've seen in several games, in that it at least FEELS like the writers of these games either cater FAR more to the sub crowd, or, they are just more of a sub themselves so they know how to write that route better and thus focus on it more, or maybe even a combination of the two. I don't know; I'm just speculating based on an observation as a predominantly dominant path player myself. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next update has in store. I just played through the game for the first time a few weeks ago and I really, really liked it. I ended up with the only option as the siren path as well, and I'm interested to see how that plays out.

The point that the dev seemed to be making in the last episode was that the choice was a pivotal moment for Ashe, that it would be the catalyst for character change. Based on this episode it clearly wasn't. Ashe behaves completely the same no matter the route you choose. It is only some minor choices you can make and dialogue options here and there.

Literally the game has been like this from the beginning, small variations in the dialogues but essentially a single path but choosing how to behave in each situation, which makes me wonder why it then became dramatic at the end with the choice of paths if it was going to be the same, it could have simply continued as until now.

I went and checked for you, but for you to be able to interact with Lexi you need to be on either the Cuck route or the Siren route. Otherwise you're at the cop's flat, and even if you run away you won't go to the beach. When you're on the cuck route you drop of Rachel and then scamper off to the beach. Where you then get cucked (?) by the bar lady, which is a little weird as Lexi acts far too shy around Ashe already to suddenly be going down on the bar lady like that.

Not sure if it should count as cucking, as you haven't really made a move on Lexi. But I'll leave that to the cuckishists.

Hopefully you're not letting my disappointment with the Siren route paint all the routes in a negative light? Don't assume because I don't like it no one will. I'm heavily biased towards a dom path, as anything else just isn't my cup of tea. The dom route just isn't executed well or properly implemented enough for me to enjoy. This is probably because the overall story arc is veering in a sub/cuck direction, the story beats align with those routes*. If you enjoy either of those routes, you really ought to give it a fair shake.

* I am of the opinion that even within the story so far a dom route could have been worked in better.

In my opinion this update was decent. I think the 0.4 update was so great that people (me included) had too many expectations for this one. I still like this update as much as 0.3 and better than the first 2 updates. My problem with it is that I did not get the scenes I was hoping for:

There are other scenes I wanted but I didn't expect them to be in this update so I don't mind. In fact the only scene I wanted that was in this update was the one with Fiona so I think this is why I didn't feel it was worth the wait. At least most of the stuff I want was teased for the party that will be in the next update. I am curious to see who Fiona hooks up with in the cuckqueen route and how Ashe deals with most her love interests being present there on the non sharing routes.
I hope the next update is only the party as I want it to be a big thing and also hope that the update comes faster.
The routes feel fine to me as playing all 3 shows big differences in Ashe while not making it seem too unrealistic.
To all the people that actually think Evelyn will be gone for as long as she says I want to remind that Evelyn was stated by the developer to be a Main Love Interest so having her gone for years of development where she will have little progress with Ashe and Fiona is very very unlikely.
The only other big problem I had with the update other than unmet expectations is the blackmailer. I can't wait for this plotline to be done with. Ashe needs to find their identity already so she can fuck or get fucked by them already so we can escape this plotline.

On the dom path you can text the cop a "rude no", a "firm but polite no" and just plain ignore and block her. Ashe blocks her number on all three options though. So it's flavour for now.

On the cuck route characters are either added to an interaction or were already there but now fuck the LI. In this episode all the characters that cuck the MC are darker skinned, taller, far more muscular and have a much bigger schlong. For whoever is into that.

Don't let my annoyance with the dom path colour every path negatively. If the kitten/cuck paths are up your alley, this game might well be your favourite.

I will have to double down after quickly replaying the earlier episodes though. Ashe gets to actually make decisions prior to the route split. She is essentially already on a path that should make her act more dominant if those are the choices you made, not less and certainly not more shy and timid.

Examples:

• You can make the decision to let Cleo help or do it yourself
• You can tell off Vanessa for stealing your beer and you can double down when she challenges you. (even though Ashe's timing is horrible, but that's besides the point).
• Ashe literally erupts in a fiery confrontation with Isabella and the Gorilla. None of that fire is seen in episode 5.
• Ashe gets confrontational with Rachel right afterwards and actually shares her feelings in a fiery but relatively measured way.
• Ashe can choose to get away from the cop in the locker room or let her continue.
• Ashe can rudely tell Vanessa she's an asshole or tell her she shouldn't have done that. (Less meaningful, but some flavour)
• You can Isabella to shut up at the pool.
• You can tell off Cleo for touching Rachel's boob in the pool

In this episode the places where you should be able to make decisions are skipped and you're just forced to go along with whatever the dev has decided as necessary for the plot. Ashe decides to insert the butt plug, no player choice. Ashe decides not to send a picture of it up her ass, no player choice.

Ashe acts shier in this episode than in all the previous ones. All of her fire is suddenly gone. She makes no dom decisions, but is essentially thrown a freebie by Lexi. I forget the slutty red head's name, but on the video call with her it turns into full on phone masturbation. She talks about Ashe's "big dick", but if you know the cuck route then you can only conclude that there is no way the red head would see Ashe's dick as big. To be fair you don't see that, nor is it hinted at in the siren route. Just thought it was a little funny seeing the difference.

In the scene with Fiona the sub route gets an option to suck her dick or keep jerking her. Then Ashe gets fucked in the pussy. In the dom route Ashe just straight up gets fucked in the pussy. There is no player choice here either. On Fiona's route? Believe it or not, fucked in the pussy.

So in conclusion:

There is far less player agency than in previous episodes, the entire episode is written from a sub base point. Making Ashe act as if she had chosen that door. So you basically get the sub path with some dom flavour text here and there and you get to fuck Lexi.

If your choice was Siren, then you now drove off a cliff just as you were ramping up. And now you have to climb back out before you can continue the path. That is basically what it feels like to me, and as such doesn't gel with the previous episodes.

The criticism is warranted though. Why the hell would you have a dom/aggressive option only to have the character act otherwise?
